It's doubled because we used it for the birth announcement, and I needed the 1/2 wallet size. But, hey, it's twice as cute!

He looks like he is getting big! And you look great! Thanks! He's 6 weeks old and gained AT LEAST 2lbs. We're going for our checkup soon, so we'll know what he weighs.

I've lost a bit of the baby fat. I started on my healthier eating thing this week. I've planned out my meals so that I don't go overboard with the junk. I couldn't eat mych junk food when I was prego b/c it made me sick.

I'm eating oatmeal, yogurt, and fruit for Breakfast. Either Tacos, Soup and Sandwich, or Salad for lunch, and something random (but healthy!) every night for dinner. Also drinking about 10 glasses of water per day.

I'm doing my Pilates 3x's a week for now. I'm going to step it up and go every other day in two weeks.. I don't wanna blimp up like my mom did after her kids.

Carrie when I wanted to start "working out" after mine were born, i found a lot of really neat exercises that involve the baby. It was a really neat way to "play" with them and get my work out at the same time!

He's soooo beautiful!
I love seeing baby pictures so keep em' coming.

My FSiL had her third at the beginning of October and she's lost just over 5" on her waist now. She's been going to Curves 3 times a week for 30 min each time. Eating really healthy and cutting back on her snacking and drinking only water or diet pop.
Good luck with everything!

Aww, Weblady, THANKS!! :D I'm all fluttered!! Little man is a little tired and cranky, but I'm listening to this remix of Broken Drum by Beck (the remix is by Boards of Canada) and he's really interested in the sounds. So, he's caling down. He really likes Sade and Bob Dylan, too.

Good to know that I'm not the only one who thinks he's cute, and good to know that he has good taste in music, too! :bblol:

It's good to know that you guys think he's cute, since you all have great taste in men!! ;)

I'm holding him, and I'm so in love with him! He's just perfect. I knew that things would be different now, but I completely understand what people mean by 'A Mother's Love'. I just look at him and feel the love of the universe channeled through his eyes.

It's such a strange feeling. This perfectly innocent little person is so completely dependant and trusting of me. When I hear about bad things that happen to babies and little kids, now it makes me feel sick inside.

I'm blubbering. Thanks guys! I just feel so proud of him. He's so :censored: cute.

Its a wonderful feeling isnt it? I could never descibe it. And IF you were to have more, you would feel THE EXACT SAME WAY for your 2nd and your 3rd, etc. I thought there was no way, but it happened.

You have every right to be proud of him........hes gorgeous!

I'm gonna echo everything everyone else has said...

HE IS SO ADORABLE! I can't wait to see more pictures! (We're very proud of our cyber nephew, can you tell?)

Carrie, you look fantastic! I can't believe you had a baby only six weeks ago! When I end up with children, I'm gonna have to find out all your secrets!

Thanks! My only real secret is being Vegetarian. I only gained 19lbs TOTAL throughout my pregnancy. I'm back to my original weight.

And, with breastfeeding, you loose a lot. Elias is still really little, so he's not eating much yet, but once he does, you better look out. By the time the wedding rolls around, I'm gonna be HOT!

LOL :bblol:

As for the Vegitarian thing ... I gotta give it to you, I couldn't do it. I went a few months without eating red meat once, but that is as close as I got ;)

I have a friend who became a vegitarian a couple of years ago but he has since gained weight :o

I could do vegetarian if I wasn't lactose intolerant. Without meat and cheese, there isn't much left! When I places where the meal is prearranged I ask for the vegetarian or vegan meal because I'm pretty sure it won't have milk in it. I have had some REALLY good meals that way. My sister used to dogsit for a lady who was a vegan and she made us dinner one night...pesto and fried eggplant! It was so good!

Being Veggie is easy if you want to do it. If yo u don't have the motivation to do so, though, there's no reason to try. There are people who gain weight because they don't do it the right way. They replace the meat with starches, dairy, and eggs instead of fruit and veggies. I must say, I'm pretty bad about it myself.

Part of my new eating healthy thing is that I need to eat more fresh plant matter. If I just ate veggies, I'd be super healthy.

Thanks for all the love, guys!! :bbmrgreen:

Carrie please post as many pictures as you have I ( as the rest of us ) love seeing him. If we can't hold him and cuddle him atleast we can see him. :bblol:
And yes becoming a mother is an amazing thing. My 2 are 4 1/2 and 6 1/2. We are planningon atleast one together after we get married and I so can't wait. Iloved being pregnant and having the little baby after is so wonderful. And they grow so fast that I cry sometimes thinking about my younget starting kindergarden in the fall. I can't let him go. He is a momma's boy. And my daughter is so much like me it is scary. I am scared of them ever getting hurt and when I hear of one of them being picked on or hurt I get so mad. But all part of being a parent I guess.

My big thing righ tnow is I dont have alot of time with my children. By the time we get home we have under 2 hours to ger dinner, homeowrk, baths, etc before bed. It is not enough time and my son falls asleep on the 45 min ride to get his sister and get home. So I am so looking forward to gettign a bigger place to live and I will baby sit instead of rushingoff to work every day for 9 or 10 hours a day. My kids can com ehome after school and not to a day care. Yes they love it there and they learn alot but I think with them being in school they will benefit from coming home and spending time with mom and dad ( they wont call him dad but they are very close to Nihcolas ).

I guess what I am trying to say is as a parent we do what we think is best for out children. Like me staying where I am. I grew up without my dad and my mom alwyas movign us around. I will stay put for the fact that the kids dad sees them every chance he gets. I will never tkae that from them. If he stops ( which i doubt he ever wil he loves they so much ) then movign will be an option. But a sacrafice I am making as a parent, staying here in this state with no family at all,( my family is 7 hours away ) and where living costs are so high, just so my kids can have their dad and he can have them. I would never wnat my kids taken so I couldnt see them whenever i wanted so I would never do that to their dad. And my Fh is all for it. He moved here ( 13 hours away from his family ) because he knew why I coldnt move. And he praises my ex for being in their lives. Seeing his had nothign to do with him.

Ok sorry long ramp thre. Needless to say I love my kids to death and will share their pictures with who ever wants to see them. So be proud of that little boy. Keep him close while you can. I am scared of the day my little one doesnt want to be on my lap or need me to help with the simple things.
