Deals on registers

Hi We registered at target and a got a $20 gift card just for registering. And I was wondering if they are other places that do this?

JcPenney gives you a wedding planning binder for putting so many items on your registry.

Also look at bridal shows. I got an 8X10 photo frame from JcPenney for signing the form at the show even though I was already in their system.

Macy's gives GREAT stuff....they have a list of things you get if you register for certain items and then a list of things once the items have been bought off of your list!

We got awesome stuff for FREE!!!

I don't know bout other places, but from what I heard at target, they only give you store credit on returns like if you get doubles or something. I have a registry at Target, they didn't give me $20 though.

Yeah, I think they do only give you store credit. But hey if we get enough doubles we can put it towards a plasma TV. Just kidding. They sent me the $20 certificate through the mail about a week later.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW

Target recently changed the return policy and it sucks worse than ever.....if you bring something back without a receipt, regardless if it is on your registry you can only exchange it or get store credit TWICE A YEAR!!! And the items have to be under $20. So in other words, if you get 4 crockpots that cost $30 and no one gives a reciept than you are stuck with 4 crockpots. I am not kiding, I just went through this with a friend, it is a nationwide store policy. No exchanges/refunds/store credits without receipts for items over $20. And only 2 exchanges/store credits per year, per person, on items $20 or under.

Keep those receipts ladies!! I am limiting items on my Target registry for this reason and Walmart can have my business instead. You will be surprised at how many people wont give you receipts.

I got the $20 gift card too but I think it was just a special promotion going on.....

I registered with Bed Bath and Beyond last night, had a blast!! Got entered to win a 7 day cruise :D

Man, we registered at Williams-Sonoma and didn't get anything . . . Target didn't give us anything either :( Poop. Oh well.

Hah, now that we have a list of things that's almost 25 items of stuff we want to change about the house we're going to make an offer on, maybe we ought to register at Home Depot too!!!

We registered at Target and Younkers. Younkers gave us a bunch of 10% off coupons to give to people, that we put in the invites. It was for stuff off the registry. And I think we got a bunch of coupons for Younkers to use for ourselves that expired on the wedding date.
