Sorry I've never been to the ocean but I hear that cannon beach in oregon is fabulous and that the St. Augstine in FL is also great.

I would go with Malibu, California or Hawaii...or the Caribbean!

I thought you weren't getting married :bbconfused:
You have very practical tips. I mean, I'm not getting married, but found these tips very useful.
So are you planning a honeymoon then?
the perfect spot for a honeymoon along the French polynesia (http://forums.onewed.com/showthread.php?p=230111)
any recommendations would be great. thanks!
We would love to help you, but I for one am confused as to why you are here and what exactly you are looking for.

I agree... I kinda *sniff sniff* smell SPAM.
That said, however, if you're serious, then I'd say either Southern California, the west coast of Florida (south of Tampa, there's some beautiful locations... Sanibel Island, for one), or the Florida Keys would all be ideal for sunset nuptials.

There are beautiful beaches all over; I personally love Florida, mostly because it is close to me since I am in Georgia ;)
The Caribbean is nice; DH and I went on a cruise to the Bahamas for our honeymoon.

Though not a beach, I would pick Split Rock Light House on Lake Supperior.
Or any old lighthouse for that matter.

Well, I know it's a long way from here but we got married down in Australia. There are so many gorgeous beaches near Sydney and up by the Great Barrier Reef.
