Disclaimer: I am a professional wedding photographer, and am asking this for research purposes.

What three or four things are most important to a bride when she is searching for a photographer? What does she want to see in the person who will photograph her wedding?

Thanks,
Mark

To me I would have to say the person has to love their job. If they don't it would make the day seem stiff rather then relaxed ( if that is even possible on a wedding day lol ) if the photopher doesn't take the time to realy enjoy what they are doing.

They must treat each bride to be like she is the only client. Hard I kow but the bride wants to feel important and to know that the photographer is there for her on that special day.

Helpful is another. For example the photographer I have has it written on her site that she has helped in many ways at weddings from helping with a crying baby to fixing veils and such. She mentions that she is there to help where ever she is needed as well as the picture taking part.

And they need to show they know what they are doing. I loved looking at photos my photographer has taken. And her giving me the pass word of a recent wedding she just did so I can see the photos and see how I will view my own when they are online.

Not sure where this falls but my photographer told me she was about to put the photo list in the mail for me to fill out and she said once I get it to call her so she can walk me through it to make it easier on both of us inkowing what it is I want during the day.

I am very please so far with the one I chose.
