Thought I would post it here before someone ask me where it is at. :bbmrgreen:

I asked the same thing about December's, but because we had that Bed, Bath and Beyond giveaway that CindySue won, there was no payout!

Yeah, I get confused about the contest thing ;) I had actually forgotten about it this time ... I bet L3vi is shocked because I have been one to check up on it in the past

The payout is nice (especially since I am trying to save money in PayPal to by a b-day gift for my honey) but I love it here even without it :D My DH says I spend entirely too much time here ;)

:bblol: it is true, it isn't much more than a few dollars at the most but it is nice to see a little bonus ;)

If you don't have your PayPal account yet go ahead and sign up ... it takes a few days to get 'verified' https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_registration-run You will want to go for the free personal account ;)

I was reading the rules as far as the payout goes and you need at least 20 "qualifying" posts to recieve a payout....not saying you didn't meet them but its possible. Or perhaps, Onewed does not have the correct information and such for you. I am sorry I can't help you with any of the technical stuff! Hope you can get it figured out!!

Hey Everyone,
This is so cool that we get paid to post stuff. Like most of you, I am using this site for valuable ideas, advice and insite! How cool is this. Quick question, I have received my pay-out amount for January......can I bank the payouts for awhile before I open a pay-pal account? I know where this $$$ is going....right to the VISA!!!!.......lol :bblol:

Once I signed up for Pay Pal, I have nothing in my account. I recieved an email from Onewed saying I got paid out, but now there's nothing there... anyone else encounter this problem?

No, if you don't have a PayPal account you cannot claim the money then it will go back to the sender. I don't know what the time frame for this is though.

Once you have your account set up you can keep the money in your PayPal account for as long as you want. Then you can transfer the money to your credit card when you build up enough.

I have not had this problem ... it sounds like your PayPal account might be set up wrong or something. You want to make sure your PayPal account is using the same email you registered here with. That is where the money will go. If not, you should be able to add up to 5 different emails to your PayPal account.

Hope this helped :D

Well, as far as I know OneWed is free, I have been here for a while and I have never had a problem like this. But, I do get spam/fishing emails from people claiming to be PayPal and eBay alot ... maybe that is the problem?

Hey Everyone,
OK-so since my previous post, I have figured out how to transfer my funds from pay-pal to my bank account. However, I am not allowed to transfer this amount because there is a minimum. My Jan pay-out expires March 5-06, what happens if I don't meet the minimum to be transfered from pay-pal becuase my onewed payouts aren't a huge amount? Does this make sense to anyone? Am I explaining this right? Please help!
Thanks-KMac

Hmmm.....I didnt know that once you get a PayPal account set up you had to use it within a certain amount of time. My payouts have been accumulating my account for about 4 months now and it hasnt taken anything off mine. Now when i was first trying to set it up and couldnt get it to work right, I had just a certain amount of time to set up the PayPal account. I got it done before the deadline.

Hey Cindy,
Thanks for the info. From what you have just explained, I think I get it now. The money is in the pay-pal account, so I think I have awhile to let it accumulate before I try and transfer it to a bank account. Than you sooooooooo much for your help!! I really appreciate it!
Sigh of relief!

Yeah once you get the PayPal account set up you can leave money in there. You use it pretty much like any other account. I think there is a minimum amount before they let you transfer/withdraw funds, not exactly sure what that is. When you get some time just read up on all that stuff on the PayPal site, it is all there ;)

Ok.....maybe Im missing it or just dont know where to look but how can I use my onewed funds in my paypal account to buy something on ebay WITHOUT giving them a bank account # or a credit card #? I can not fot the life of me figure this out. I have an account, and the money is there. How can i use it????

WeddingManager

I think a CC or Bank Account number is required to confirm your account and to be able to shop on ebay.

I think l3vi is right. They just use your CC or Bank account to verify who you are ... if you have a balance in your PayPal account and you buy something online the money will come out of your PayPal funds. They only use your other account if you don't have enough money in the PayPal account.

When you tie the CC or Bank account to your PayPal account you can transfer funds from PayPal to that account too :D

Ok...well I closed my checking account when I moved (it was a teeny little stupid bank anyway) and havent opened another yet. (Im waiting on my income tax to do that) and my credit card isnt in my name. So what can i do? will they take an account in someones elses name....like Brian's?

I don't think they look at names really, so you could try it. You just have to have access to that account. They will make 2 small deposits and you will have to verify the date and amount of the deposits and then you are verified :D

I have mine attached to my debit card. I can't attach my account because my FH has "our" account attached to his pay pal account. And you can't have more then one pay pal account with the same bank account number.
