Are you making your invites? If so explain how you are making them. Where did you get the stuff to do it, and if any place online shows pics of it or a site you used let us know!!!

I plan on making my invitations. I will be getting most of the supplies through Michael's (craft superstore) and scrapbooking stores. I have used the internet to come up with many great ideas. It will be something similar to the photo.
Most wedding invitations use materials such as:
Cardstock: heavy duty paper
Vellum: Opaque/sheer paper used as an overlay
Bows/trinkets: Used as embellishments
You should be able to find these materials at your local craft store. Be careful because buying these materials by single sheet can get expensive. You're better off finding them in bulk packages of 50 sheets.

I notice that buying in bulk is so much cheaper but needing wine or burgandy it is hard to find those in bulk :(
Those are so pretty t hough I love the leave on there.

I really like those invitations as well. I agree with Courtnee the leaf really completes it.

I found the kits on sale at Michaels, I had originally planned on buying everything and doing them from scratch. The kits include invites, reply cards, and envelopes for both.(found on sale for $15, 50 invites per kit) They were a little plain so I bought vellum and cut it to fit the inside portion of the 5x7 invite, and tied it at the top with ribbon. The ribbons to awhile to tie, but the end reslut was worth it and was SOOO much cheaper then ordering them.

I buy a few sheets of vellum at Micheal's before, it was very expensive. Do they sell vellum in packs anywhere, for a price sell then $.50-1.00 a sheet?

I bought packs at a local craft store, sort of the same as Michaels but I think they are only in Ohio. Anyway, they were $4 for 12 sheets. I can try to find the package and see what brand they are. I might still have some in the 'wedding box'

I bought my invitations in a kit. I happen to buy them from someone that had too many. You can pick them up at office depot, or office max. They have everything you need already in a kit. Then I added a leave to each one. My flower girls threw leaves instead of petals, so I tied that all in together...
