Ladies,
Does anyone have any locations where these necklaces can be found for under $20 ?
Or -- has anyone seen the beads that can be bought so I can make the necklaces? I've found the size beads I need, but the holes are drilled too small to get the ribbon through them.
ANY help would be greatly appreciated !
I've also posted my BM dresses so you can see why I want these.
Thanks so much ladies !

Well, I found them at http://www.momentsofelegance.com/catalog/pearls-with-ribbon-tie-necklace-p-383.html for $18--not a whole lot less than 20, I realize lol. Still looking.

RE: the link that WBandMe posted - I noticed that you can't actually see the ribbon between the beads. So, if you were to use fishing line or whatever to string the beads, I think the ribbon is only added where the clasp would be. :bbidea:
Or .... could you use a thinner ribbon to string and knot between each bead and then add a larger ribbon where the clasp is?
Or ..... do you know anyone with a dremmel? It might be possible to drill the holes bigger.

Hi Ladies - yes I saw this version when searching - and they are ok but the picture of the one I posted shows the ribbon knotted between the pearl beads and they look a little more elegant to my mind.
Yes, I am also researching a drimmel to drill the holes out more to fit the ribbon. I just love the look of the one I posted and am really motivated to try and find them.
If anyone else has suggestions - PLEASE shout out !
My sincerest thanks for the responses.

LOL see what you have done? I have been thinking about this all morning and I really don't see how you can make such small knots in between those beads if you used the large ribbon throughout. So .... this is what I would do ....
Use a thinner ribbon to string and knot between each bead and then add a larger ribbon where the clasp is. If you still need larger holes, drill them bigger ... a dremmel would be good but you could also use a hand drill & small drill bit or drill press and small drill bit.

I found these pearls beads, but you can only get them half drilled and your probably have the same problem with the ribbion. I didn't look at the whole website so maybe those necklaces on there.

So, after all this searching we've all done, and finding the same things we've all found, I think I now know why this blasted necklace was $85 bucks.
It's off to find a drimmel and some ribbon. Pearls are ordered.
If you hear a loud girl scream its me - and we're on the way to the ER to save my hands ! LOL

If I understand correctly .... the beads are already drilled but the holes are just not big enough.

I have just about beat my head against the wall over this one, but just now finally found the blasted things. I knew they had to be out there somewhere, I just wasn't using the right search terms.
Finally searched on big faux pearls and finally found this site - just ordered them and I am jumping up and down I am so excited !

It's a wholesale site, but they took my order and credit card and completed the order, so YIPEEE
