Zumba!!!!!!

If you're into aerobics classes at all....or if you're into dancing at all....you should go find a Zumba class!

Tonight was my first night and I had a BLAST!! Ok, so it almost killed me and my face was so red I looked like Elmo....but I was having a ball! I danced my little heart all for an hour straight.

Basically, it was an hour of high-intensity samba, salsa, merengue and belly dancing! Wicked fun!!!!!!!!!

At least in my class, the teacher will show you the high-intensity version and the low-intensity version. People were doing all versions. One lady was even laying on the floor part of the time. LOL!!

hahaha .... that would be me .... the middle aged, out of shape, smoker.

Picking up the steps wouldn't be the problem .... just trying to keep it up would be!

I used to take line dancing for fun. Our teacher loved to teach us a dance, make us do it 4 or 5 times slow ... once or twice to a medium tempo and then just for her amusement only, she would play a super fast tempo song and watch us all trip over each other! :rofl:

I would LOVE to do that, I love latin dancing. Sadly I don't think there is anything like that around me.
