My MOH wants to throw me a last minute bach party. I don't know why she didn't think of doing it before and I wasn't going to actually ask her to do it, but now none of my friends are going to have time to ask off. They all work weekends. Only a few of my bridesmaids will be able to do anything anyways. So we were thinking about just having the bridesmaids go over to my friend's house after the rehearsal dinner and throw me a low key lingerie shower and just hang out for a few hours. I won't be drinking heavily - probably not at all, so do you think it's an okay idea the night before the wedding? At the last minute it just seems like the simplest plan.

I think that sounds like a good idea. Just have your last minute things done before hand. I went out the night before then was up till like 3 or 4 getting my things together. That was not good.

to be truthful. No .. I think that something like that wont allow you to calm down much the night before. Is there anyway to do it the DAY before the rehershal or the day of BEFORE the rehersal? If you dont mind doing a daytime thing - my cousins lingere party was daytime. we had mimosa and sandwiches and wings and were still a bit tipsy at the rehersal dinner but it was fun :)

The day before isn't possible, but before the rehearsal just might work. Several of the girls are taking Friday off. I'll have to look into that!

I can see both sides...I would just make sure you have everything done!!! It might be kinda cool to just hang out with your friends!!!!

How fun for you!!!

I think it's a great idea. Maybe do it during the day? that way there you can still make the rehearsal. etc

ETA: I totally just reread your post. I think it's a great idea after the rehearsal too!

Yeah, I think that's cute. I went to a lingerie party and we had a lot of fun. Wish I could still fit into the stuff I bought.

Just remember if you party the night or day before, take it easy. I just had to cancel a wedding on a couple who partied the night away, and showed up hungover to the wedding (the witnesses did). Needless to say they were not happy, but my contract and more importantly state laws said I had no choice but to.

No worries there will be no partying involved! If I ever do "party" it's with Chad. I'm embarrassed to be tipsy infront of anybody else - even my closest friends! I'm a control freak like that, I guess.
