What type of winter wedding favors ideas would you suggest? I'm stumped at the moment and haven't the faintest where to start for a winter wedding! Thanks all!

Is it an xmas theme or winter theme? Xmas themes , my vote is ALWAYS ornaments-- i mean they are AWESOME and cheap. Other then that i think little hot chocolate bags are an awesome favor for a winter wedding..
They are the cones and you put enough in for one cup. Then above that you can add a think layer of sugar or vanilla powder and then on top put mini marshellows ... they are awesome!!! love the idea of them.. :)

you can add chocolate chips and white chocolate chips too.. They have smaller cones - enough for one cup :) Thats what you should use instead so you can give a small one to everyone.. Seems pretty cheap too if you get the hot chocolate in bulk (they have GIANT cans of the powder in costco and rest. supply places)

Wow...thanks!!! And it's a winter theme since it will take place after Christmas [sometime in January]. I really like the ornament idea though...perhaps snowflake ornaments? and the cookie idea? The kids would love it!!! Oh the choices!
I really do appreciate everyone's help!! I've got awhile to plan [the wedding won't be until 2010 :frogg: ]...but hey, that's okay! Just means more time to ponder the choices! Thanks so much!! I really appreciate it!

I like the idea of the snowflake cookies and the hot cocoa mix. What about those small candy canes? Or are those to Christmasy? I think they'd be cute with a little note.

I really like the hot chocolate idea... you could go to a bulk supply store and see if they sell coffee mugs, or discountmugs.com has some cheap bulk ones.. and then you can go to a bulk store and buy hot cocoa mix and put it in a baggie like above and put it in the mug.... or if not a baggie do a mason jar with the cocoa mix and no mug....
OR....
Make peppermint chocolate brittle... which is melted white chocolate with crushed up candy canes in it.. let is cool in a thin layer and then break it up and put in a baggie or jar....
Or....
http://www.allfreecrafts.com/giftinajar/hot-chocolate.shtml but do the jars smaller... and you can get the jars from a store the mason jars or get them online.... and you can decorate them with whatever.. or if not hot cocoa a spiced tea... or do a cookie mix in the jar with the recipe on the tag

Well, I am doing Truffle Wedding Favors. They come in a very nice box and you can have your initials monogrammed. My mom found them at FiftyFlowers.. Love the idea!!

I like the idea of Christmas tree ornaments, assuming everybody celebrates Christmas in your group! I'd love to get a pretty tree ornament as a wedding favor.
