Thanks Gwen!
I just showed Danny those pillowcases that say Mr. and Mrs. I want those so bad. He thinks I am crazy! LOL! He just looked at them and said pillowcases? :bblol: I think he was expecting me to show him another idea I had for the wedding.

You might should still have a Guest Book even with a Signature Photo Mat ... you still need addresses to send TY cards ;) I do really like the mat idea but, everyone may not sign the mat.
I have seen it both ways, in addition to and in place of the Guest Book :)
I have also seen Signature Platters (like pictured above) and a Signature Pillow that also make for neat keepsakes :D

I understand what your saying and if my wedding was bigger I would be doing that, but there may only be about 20 people there....all family (and thats IF everyone invited shows up). It seemed like a waste of money on a guest book to only use maybe 2 pages. All of these people we see on and off through out the year and I have all of their addresses already. It was actually my FMiL that recommended the platter because such few people were going to be there. I have since told her about the photo mat and she loved the idea.

Well, I was just going to agree with the 'Reputaion' thingy but I gotta spread it around ;) So I agree, it doesn't look like you would need both with your wedding being an intimate family affair

I think I would be able to have just the platter too. I would already have everyones addresses from when I send the invitations.

I was thinking of having every one sign a square piece fo cloth to later make a blanket out of. My one problem is how big to get the squares. I figured I could have all the squares the guests sign in white and when I get the blanket made I cold get fabric in the colors of the wedding. I just dont know how much this is gonna cost me. Not sure how much it cost to have a blanket made either. Any ideas?

I had made a guest book originally. It's really beautiful, but when everyone was talking about the photomats, I just LOVED the idea! So, when we were out last weekend I bought one. I was worried about having them both out on the table, but now I'm not. Thanks gals!

Again talking about my first wedding here but what I did for the guest book was this...... I had the normal guest book but I had 2 people take a polaroid photo of each guest and have the guest sign next to their picture. It didnt turn out like I wanted it to but I still have all the photos of all that was there.
