So weird story, I'll keep it breif.

I was stalked in high school for about the last 3 months of my senior year. It was really hard, I got nasty letters calling me a slut and about how I should die.

I was pretty sure who it was at the time (a freshman girl who liked my ex-boyfriend) but it was never proven. I was a total mess my senior year because of this. You can read more about it here (http://www.roadlessunraveled.com/2006/11/02/the-stalker/) if you want since it's a long story.

Anyway, so I came across that ex on Facebook and added him as a friend for the hell of it...to catch up and stuff. I then came across the girl who I believe was the one who was sending the letters and I mentioned it on my blog.

My ex came across it and sent me an email asking who I thought it was. he also apologized that he had anything to do with her and how glad he is nothing ever came of it.

So strange but it will be closure for me if I can finally find out 100% who it was because that upset me the most...that she got away with it entirely.

Wow, that's crazy and creepy. Something like that would surely follow you through the years and closure would be so good for you.

He told me he never knew for sure who did it because if he did he would have stopped it. His first thought was the girl that I thought it was although we both agree it doesn't make any sense. It was nice to hear from him about it and that he feels bad even though it was a long time ago.

Closure is always a good thing. I'm glad it didn't follow you at all after high school. Sounds like you had a pretty good guy, since he was interested in who it was and that he was willing to get in the middle of it to stop it if he knew who it was.

Yeah, we had some bad stuff happen between us but I always felt he was a good guy. Some thought the stalker was him but ugh...no wonder I love CSI.
