I have my wedding dress!!!!!!!!!!!

My FH bought my wedding dress for me!!! (He did not see it of course) I am so relieved that I have it because the wedding is getting close and I was worried I may not have it in time.

But now the stress of the wedding is really setting in on me. I can't even seem to gather my thoughts. I feel so unorganized in a sense.

gosh i love the detailing and i loooove the way they are showing the bustle.. are you doing it that way ??I USED to think it always looked like a tail when they did that, then when i started trying on dresses i fell in love with that bustle :)

PS...My friend had cap sleeves and while it looked beautiful....She said that they were a nightmare. She couldn't move her arms up and at the end of the night they kept falling down. Are they detachable?? Davids has them as detachable now!!

Yes, the capped sleeves can be a bit of a pain. They can also break easily so make sure you have saftey pins with you the day of the wedding!!

No... I am not going with the cap sleeves. I think they are beautiful but I like to cover my arms. I am wanting to attach 3/4 inch sleeves that will match the dress. It is hard trying to find something that I think fits with the dress.


The dress literally fits me like a glove and I don't need any alterations... but I do have to find some sleeves that I like....

You could always get some kind of shawl/coat thing instead of putting it onto your dress.. :) i think it might be cute, anyway..

What a beautiful dress (and a beautiful bride). That detailing is gorgeous. Isn't it great when you fine THE ONE? I like your idea about the sleeves - maybe your seamstress can attach the sleeves to make it more of a sweeheart neckline. If that doesn't work I second the motion on the shawl.
