I am actually behind on doing this so I really need to get on the ball.... what kind of things did you guys send out to your bridal party to ask them to be in your wedding. Any examples would be great as I think I am going to make my own as i am pretty good with photoshop. Thanks in advance

I didnt do anything special when I asked the bridal party. I setn a email out to my neice and nephew asking if they would like to be part of our big day. My MOH I had emailed her and moreless told her she was going to be my moh. She's my best friend of 15yrs so I knew she would say yes. I called my mom and spoke with her about my brother being part of the wedding. She said she was fine with it, so then I talked to him. I promised him he would walk down with our neice (he has CP). He said sure. The rest I asked in person. I didnt do any of those cute lil' cards that some have made.

I didn't really do anything special. I asked my MOH over the phone, and I have asked other people in person. I don't think the asking part is too important, they will just be happy to be involved with your wedding!

This girl made her own lil' cards and I think they turned out great. You can view them in her wedding journal:

When I got married the first time I was at a bridal show with my best friend and we were looking at boquets. I handed her one and made some comments about how it would look for the wedding or something like that. Then I asked her.

I was exactly the same - most of them already knew and those that didn't I just asked in person. In hindsight it might've been cute for me to offer some sort of little letter or card or something but I think I was just too excited and anxious! Oh well :)

I had trouble with this...It wasn't as much the asking but the deciding. I ended up just asking each person in person...

I just asked people in person.. i didn't want to do something special and put them on the spot.. I wanted to give them an easy way out if they honestly didn't want to do it..
