That's right.... no more excuses
I was a personal trainer for awhile, but here in Oregon it's not such a lucrative career so now I'm working at a bank while I finish getting my masters in psychology.
Anyhow here is some weight background:
In August 2006 I weighed 180 lbs. I am 5'7'' so that's in the overweight category. Then I finally got motivated. I started working part time at a gym and being there every other day sort of forced me to work out. Well I lost thirty pounds in four months. I was down to 150 and I looked amazing. I lost another ten pounds and I was a size ten for the first time in my life (I've always been heavy- I started middle school as a size 13).
Flash Forward:
A year a a few months later I'm at 158 and 156 on a good day. So I gained back about ten pounds. I'm still really proud that I have kept that original thirty pounds off, but I would like to feel amazing on my wedding day.
My goal: To bench 80 pounds and weight a comfortable 140 (I want to weigh that most days of the week, not just on a good day:rassberry: ). As for the bench pressing, I know it may sound silly, but I think a girl should be able to lift some weight!:hi:
I know exactly what I need to do and what I need to eat, I just can't seem to motivate myself. I have no problem getting others motivated, but I have a hard time with it myself.
So it's time for no more excuses for me. I decided to start a journal so I could write everything down (something I used to require of my clients)
My plan is to eat healthy- between 1300-1500 calories (recommended for weight loss when you work out a lot) and to work out at least 4 times a week.
So wish me luck. I'll be letting you know how it goes:)
