Your post where both made within 20 minutes. You have to give people time to replay to the post, and also sometimes if the question is not something others feel like answering, then they will not, as it may be an obvious answer or they do not feel like talking about it.

You could really take your honeymoon anywhere in October.

For hot places anywhere by the equator is hot - Hawaii, Bahamas, Caribbean, Philippines, Southern California, Virgin Islands, Tahiti, Cayman Islands, Italy, South Africa, Malaysia, Fiji, etc.

For great cold locations - Greek, Denmark, Paris, The Alps in Switerland, Newfoundland, Chicago, Maine, Canada, Alaska, United Kingdom, Ireland, etc.

We took a 'mini moon' to Niagara Falls, the weather was still nice enough to walk around and not freeze. It was really pretty with the leaves changing colors.

We got married the first weekend in October of 2002.

We took our honeymoon in Montego Bay, Jamaica. It was very beautiful and only rained for about 2 hours on 1 day. Now, the fall is prime hurricane season in Jamaica, so you may want to check and see if your resort has a hurricane guarantee. (A lot of them do) If a hurricane was to directly hit where you are staying, they will let you come back and stay for free.

So you may be taking a risk going to Jamaica in October, but we had great luck and it was beautiful! It also wasn't very crowded. We stayed at an all inclusive resort called Breezes in Montego Bay. I would recommend ANY of the Superclubs in Jamaica! They were great!

Hope this helps!

My wedding is going to be October 14, 2006. We have planed on going to disney Land. Act like little kids again. Before we have little ones of our own. It will be October, not too hot yet not too cold and all the kids will be in school. :D

One of my good friends was married in October. Her and her husband planned their honeymoon in the Poconos. We actually had our honeymoon planned there, but found a cruise that we wanted to go on instead and it was going to save us money by doing that. Our wedding is in May.

I would be careful if you go on a cruise in October. Oct. is prime hurricane season. That is why my friend and her husband planned for the Poconos. They really enjoyed it there and had very wonderful things to say about the area and their resort.
