Yesterday I went to Hobby Lobby to buy paper for the invitations, including the paper for the maps we'll insert, the rsvp cards, and the paper for the favors that we're making.
I think I sat on the floor in front of the paper for probably an hour, going through the stacks to make sure each piece of paper was perfect!
Now, normally I'd still be this way, but I think that I want everything to be perfect, so I'm extra ocd about things!
I'm also obsessing about the variations in the shades of tissue paper (even though all the packs say they're the same color), the font for the invites, etc...
:whoa:

I'm like Danielle, if I cut something uneven, I throw it out. How many sheets of paper did you get? I'm assuming they we're not wrapped in packaging.

No, I bought them individually. I think maybe 50 pieces of tan, 25 sheets of vellum, and 20 pieces of teal cardstock!

I asked so I can give you an honest answer. I would check every single sheet in that case. Would hate to buy something and have it messed up already, by being bent or damaged in anyway.

Yup same here, and I HAVE done this before when buying things singly. I plant myself in the store and check over every inch before putting it into my cart. When I bought my dress, I bought it off the rack, and I thought the lady at the shop was going to kill me because I sat there for a good 30 minutes inspecting every inch of the dress.

She wouldn't dare give you a hard time. She would risk losing the sale. It's good to meet other people with OCD tendencies. Nice to meet you all!
I learned my lesson, one time bought a lamp. Normally I check it out (Do you all have to check something if it is a box too? I know I just have to) but it was such a great deal. So went ahead and bought it. When I got home I opened it found there was a crack in the base. I was so upset but hated the idea of returning it. I just say it has character now LOL Plus it was so cheap, wasn't worth the trip taking it back and it was the last one too.
