Do you have a list? I am a huge list person, I feel I can handle stress much better if I have a to-do list.

WOW! How exciting!

I sat down and counted last Friday and as of Saturday, I was at 15 weeks...that was REALLY exciting for me...and kind of scary. I definitely have to get my butt in gear or I'm going to be totally freaking out when I get as close as you are now.

Don't forget on your to do list...post pics for your one wed girls as soon as possible! We all love to see wedding pics! :bbmrgreen:

Congrats!!!

Here are a few things to be sure you do in the next 2 months ...

6-9 Weeks Prior

 Mail Invitations with RSVP cards
 Get Marriage License
 Attend bridal showers
 Order guest favors
 Plan Rehearsal
 Final dress fittings
Do test hair & make up
 Have pre-bridal portraits made
 Order Thank You cards
 Coordinate guest lodging
 Keep up with RSVP's

Confirm rehearsal plans with all involved.
Finalize wedding day details with wedding party and all vendors: - Baker, Caterer, DJ, Florist, Limo, Photographer, Videographer, etc...
 Discuss ceremony plans with Officiate.
Confirm wedding day check-in/check-out times with wedding party and all vendors.
Confirm final headcount with caterer & reception site (don't forget to include yourself, the wedding party & your vendors - photographer/assistant, videographer, coordinator, etc)
Pull all your accessories together in a box and appoint someone to get the box to the wedding. You will need: - guest book & pen, cake knife & server, cake box (for the top tier), toasting glasses, display photos, guest favors, etc...
Advise the maid of honor to help gather your things from the dressing rooms after the wedding.
Designate someone to do the toast at the reception so they can be prepared.
Assign someone to help gather the gifts, food, & personal things after the reception is over.
Relax! You can’t control everything - Don't forget the real reason you are doing this.

:goodluck:

No your not Shawna Bride. I'm a bit closer than you are. I think stress is starting to get to me. We have had quite a few that haven't replied yet and my RSVP date is the 4th Feb so only a week to go. We are either going to get lots of mail next week or I'm going to have to ring around and chase everyone up, which is not good :( .

Having to call a fair few people because they didn't RSVP is normal!! I had to call at least ten people because they forgot! I don't know why but some of them figured I could read their mind and some people were SO sure they had sent it off only to later discover it under the seat of one of their vehicles!

I wish you both the best of luck! Take the time and enjoy everything leading up and espicially enjoy your wedding day!

I didn't call anybody, if they didn't RSVP that was fine with me, less I had to worry about ;) But, my DH did call a few of his people and of course they all 'forgot'

:goodluck: and congrats again ladies!

I wish I didn't have to call anyone, but if they showed up at the reception and I couldn't feed them or have a seat for them, I would have been in a little bit of trouble and I would have been mader then h3ll at them so I figured I'd just call them....which I hated to do. I really wanted to say "ya know what...your problem not mine!"Unfortunately I couldn't though.

I hear ya ;) My thing was sort of different but still, my DH felt the same way and he called people. I have issues with my family so I would have love to have been like 'Oh well'

I think a list is in order actually. Tonight I'm going to sit down and put it all on paper so that there's some semblance of order.
It just seems like I can't get above water, plus I just started a new job.... :bbcry:

Ya know, I read somewhere once that the biggest stress factors in life were; getting married, having a baby, buying a house and getting a new job

Sorry hun, don't let it get to you
