I was looking for a popcorn cooker (because I enjoy making homemade popcorn and right now am just using a pot, and sometimes that makes it burn) and I found this: http://cgi.ebay.com/Popcorn-shrimp-heart-shaped_W0QQitemZ110202205618QQihZ001QQcategoryZ146 7QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
someone listed a piece of popcorn shrimp because their son found one that looked like a heart....
Anyone seen anything odd listed on ebay before? I don't doubt that several ladies of you have! I know I can list a ton of strange things I have seen :)

It is funny the things that some people will put up, and even funnier the people that buy them ;)

I've seen all kinds of stuff and love the weird ones!
Did you see the guy who was selling the wedding dress of his ex and he modeled it in the pictures? It was HILARIOUS!
I saw a lady selling a cane that she said inhabited the ghost of her father.
Then there were all the grilled cheese sammiches and spoofs.

Does anyone remember the ghost in a jar listing? And then there were a few copy-cats with similar listings.
This website talks about it. http://www.secretcrypt.com/monthly/jun03/jar.html

Here's the guy with the wedding dress! He's so funny!

"Actually I didn’t think my head would fit in the neck hole, but then I figured she got her Texas cheerleader hair through there I could get my head in it. Though, after looking at the pictures, I thought it made me look fat. How do you women wear this crap?"
or
"All I know is, for my next wedding I will be wearing a hairy, flesh-toned ensemble because I will be buck naked with a toe tag lying on a slab in the morgue because I would have killed myself."

There was a kid once who sold packets of ketchup, taco bell sauce things like that. All stuff we get for free every time we go out to eat. He ended up with like 500 bucks said it was for college I think.
There are some weird things on ebay lol.

The oddest one I heard about, I still can't believe it is real. It was for a chance to win a game console. But you're not even guaranteed winning. You're buying an envelope for a chance.

Yeah I was on Ebay today looking for some warm socks for FH. I came across this listing (http://cgi.ebay.com/Lot-of-3-Pairs-of-Used-Mens-Socks_W0QQitemZ220180970656QQihZ012QQcategoryZ1151 1QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) and thought it was pretty gross. It had to be a joke. Why would you try to sell something like that?!

There's people for everything. I see those socks sold!
I used to sell stuff on eBay a long time ago. I was selling a pair of my old (though in good condition) high heels. You shoulda seen the dirty, nasty emails I got about them. I was shocked!
Men were wanting to know if they smelled...if I wore them during sex....if I had any panties for sale. It was a kinda scary experience! :whoa:

They always have some crazy ones on big game days. I think was when the Eagles were playing and some antique green bowl turned this lady's kid's cereal green.... then, the cereal magically formed itself into an eagle. They auctioned the bowl AND the dried out cereal. Hahaha.

I guess can't complain to Ebay about false advertising. Cause when they say you can buy almost anything on Ebay, I guess they mean anything.
