stupid question......I'm putting glasses on the table with floating candles and water and I want to put those smooth stone things in them. I'm trying to find them online and I can't find them in my searches because I think I don't know the proper term for them? Can anyone help?

I have seen them called 'Decorative Marbles' and 'Decorative Stones', etc ... they are usually glass or hard plastic. You can get them at most craft stores like Michael's or Hobby Lobby.

If you have a Walmart near you that is a good place to get them too. They are in the craft section where all the vases are.

I forgot about Wal Mart! I was going to suggest a craft store, Michaels or Hobby Lobby.

I spend entirely too much money when I go there.

Also try Bed, Bath, and Beyond. They have them in the candle section.

If you have a Dollar Tree around you, check there. I've bought glass stones there to use on my stained glass projects.

This sounds out of whack...but if you're looking for a particular color that you can't find anywhere check out old fashioned toy stores (I wish they were all old fashioned still) or aquarium shops. I used the same thing in the bottom of my fish tank!

Me too Cindy :bbeek:
I don't know what I would do without Walmart. We save SO much money there! We don't have a full grocery store at our just a few things. But there prices on just cereal is like half price of the grocery stores around here. I refuse to pay $5 for a box of cereal when I can go to walmart and get it for $2.75. :D
