I am addicted! I haven't stepped foot in a mall yet although I will have to hit Costco sometime before the holidays for last minute food stuff and gifts.

I haven't bought anything super expensive .... just the following stocking stuffers

For Hugh because he refers to his goatee as "my little hedgehog"

For my mother (who has everything) a cute little pin which will be made in her doggy's likeness

another pin, which will be made with her name

For my daughter who is taking restaurant and hotel management

this silk scarf for my mother inlaw

Samantha has ordered all of the gifts she is giving online so far this year. She loves shopping this way now. We love to use the power mall and get more of a discount this way and like etsy and other sites help out our friends we know.

I haven't bought the first thing however. but two years ago i bought everything online. not one time did i actually purchase any gifts from anywhere except the net. for us it is a timesaver as well as actually saves us money. shipping is less than putting gas in the car and driving to our mall or stores since they are so far away.

I love those monopoly hotel earrings for your daughter. Cute hedgehog too. That journal looks great too. You have wonderful taste. No way a duct tape wallet that is too cool.

This is what I've bought so far:

I feel the need to show this one off especially it was custom made and stressed me out so much.

I have one thing left to get, a watch for my Mom but I can't make up my mind which one she'd like most.

I love that quilt!

I have to agree with you about saving money Treasia. Every minute I save from going to the mall, leaves me to paint. It also saves me the stress.

OK so I am going a bit bizurque now though .... I am waiting to hear back about this item (whether or not it has a lining or inner pocket etc.) before I buy but it's perfect for my friend who is shoe crazy!

and I just bought this for my Mom & mother inlaw - you stuff them with bits of string, yarn, pet fur, dryer lint etc. so that the birdies can build their nests :)

LOL could we change the title of this thread to - Show off your online purchases ? because I could still use some ideas from others.

BTW - I purposely didn't post any links because I am not trying to promote these vendors but if anyone is interested in where I purchased, feel free to PM me.

We did almost all of the kids' shopping online with the exception of their stocking stuffers!! It's so hard to find time to shop and not have the kids with us, nor have them see us bring the bags inside..It's much easier getting it UPS'd and in a brown box. They don't know the difference!! LOL! Plus, we got some great deals!! We saved $100 on an x box 360 game system and got each boys 2 games for less than $20.00!!

I think we're pretty much done with most of our online purchases though. Most of the things I need to get I just need to get at the store..So, I'll suck it up and join the craziness of the Christmas season!!

Shawn'sgirl said they saved on an xbox, but do you typically save a considerable amount?

I think I love malls and shopping way too much to shop on-line. I can honestly say I have never, ever bought a single thing on-line! I'm one of those that gets up at 3am to make it to the stores before they open on the day after Thanksgiving :-) We spent around $400 but we saved $400 because of all the phenomenal sales! My goodness I love shopping...

I am buying Doug something online for his guitar collection, I have no idea what it is or does. I hope it is not loud! lol

I do have to say, I have never ever seen a duct tape wallet before! How cute!

Ahhhhhhhh I have hit an online shopping snag. I got some stuff that I ordered from Sears for my son & Hugh and it's so not the right size.

I ordered some sleep wear in a 36 for my son and it's a small! I ordered some sleep wear & boxers in a 40 for DH and the tag says medium. Since when is a 40 a medium????? What then would be an extra large?!!!!

This is not going to fit DH so I am going to have to take it all back and exchange it.
