Kacie wants a baby

I guess I'll start my new journal over here. I didn't copy mine from over at baby raising. Oh well.

So here's the deal with me: I am 25 years old. I have been married since December of last year, so almost one year. I am a teacher and my husband, Justin, is a chemical salesman for a petroleum company. (For those of you who know me from my Onewed days he changed from his old job which was a farm equipment salesman. There is much better money in chemical sales, and he is utilizing his education this way.) We have just bought a house. We are scheduled to close on Friday unless something goes wrong. Right now everything looks good, the survey and the appraisal are both done etc. The only thing that we are worried about is the seller getting the inside done to fulfill their end of the contract.

The reason I have this journal is because I want to start a family very badly. We are supposed to be officially TTC, but the last month we really haven't been trying like we said we would. It's been stressful with the home purchase, and some other things going on. It would be a very nice New Year's surprise to find out I am pregnant. It's too late now for Christmas, but I really hope 2008 is my year!

Sorry I haven't been on in a long time! Anyway we are in the house. We absolutely love it! I have been shopping away, finding things for the house.

On the baby front there is nothing much new going on. I am about 4 days late, but I am not getting my hopes up because back in September or something like that I was two weeks late (I was usually very regular) and of course I was not pregnant then.

I have felt like I was going to start, but I just haven't. I even had cramps, and I was sure I was going to start over night a couple of days ago, but I didn't.

We'll see. I was majorly disapointed last time when I was not pregnant, so I have been telling myself this time that I am probably not pregnant.

My due date is December 13th. I just had an ultrasound on Monday. The baby is moving and they say everything looks good.

I guess it's time for another update. The summer has been going well. Morning sickness (or should I rephrase and say all day sickness) has most of the way worn off. My doctor gave me some medication, and I have to take it sometimes. It is defiantely true that the second trimester is much better.

I am just getting into maternity clothes. They are a little big, but I have outgrown all of my regular clothes except a few shirts.

This month I should be able to find out the sex of the baby. I have an appointment on July 14th and the ultrasound should be scheduled then. The last appointment I heard the heartbeat, and found all out my blood work and tests came back good.

I have been in and out of OW lately and am just now trying to catch up on things I have missed. Sorry to be so late but congrats on the baby. That is so exciting. My little one just turned one a couple of weeks ago. My best friend is finding out the sex of her first on Aug. 5th. I plan to be there with them.

I am so happy for you. Can't wait to hear what your having. My birthday is Dec. 8th so you can have the baby then lol.
