I didn't want to 'hijack' another thread ...

About photos in mags vs real life and the 'sad' looking models ...

I like the 'classy and romantic' feel in photos but IMO it is better done with a soft smile rather than that look you see on most models in those 'high fashion' mags and such.

Here, are some nice ones I like ... not the big cheesy smile, but still looking happy, at least to me ...

Now I would want to buy some of those dresses...the ones that look half starved an insanely unhappy just don't say buy this dress and wear it on the most important day of your life to me...maybe I'm crazy...

Your not crazy ;) I don't know why people don't Tailor their advertisements to their audience more

And some photographers try to get you in those poses with the stiff face too. The whole thing is just silly to me.

Guess I'm lucky...I really don't see my photographer even attempting to get me in that pose...of course, I am going to have to stiffen up a bit, because insanely happy wide grin is just not going to be condusive to ALL the pics...lol
