So my problem for my big send off was that my venue did not allow sparklers, you may use rose petals or seeds, but you also have to pick them up before you leave- crazy I know. So I was stuck with bubbles which I refuse to use- I don't want the chance of stains on anyone's dresses.
So my solution:
Wedding wands. People will shake these as we walk by (kind of similar to super nice pom poms at sporting events).
I took wooden dowels (used for cakes) and spray painted them white, then I put transulcent white glitter glue over it and finally tied on several pieces of white and blue satin ribbon.
Total cost: 10 dollars for 120 wands- nope, not joking and it took me about three hours to make them all.
