After looking at the thread where everyone posted pictures of their bouquets, it got me thinking.

I always assumed I'd use fake flowers, so I never even looked at real ones.

Just curious...how much did your real bouquets cost?

(I don't need bridesmaids bouquets, so if you know the price for just yours, that'd be awesome!)

I am DIY with real flowers and the Gerber daisies are $1.20 a stem!

I can't give you the cost for just mine alone. We bought two dozen roses & one bunch of mixed flowers from Costco the morning of our wedding. I made my bouquets, 2 BM bouquets, 3 corsages & 4 boutonnieres out of that. The roses were $19.99 a bunch and the mixed flowers were $14.99; $55.00 + $4 for corsage pins + $5 for ribbon + $1 for floral wire = total $65.00.

Maybe the prices are cheaper at different times of the year!

I have a few website saved that I will be ordering from. I checked out a few. This one has tons of diferent orchids and they are about 2.31 a piece. The only thing is that the minimum order is 60 stems. Maybe you could call and ask about purchasing half of that???

I'm thinking I'll look around at local places and see what orchids cost. I'm making ONE bouquet...I certainly won't need that many! :frogg:

we have wild diasies in our pack pasture, so we're using them...so my buquets are only costing me the gas it takes to drive back there on the 4wheeler haha

My mom's best friend use to be a florist. Hes doing all of our flowers. He told me that it would cost anything. Im very excited to start working with him on the flowers. I'm very lucky. I want all Gerber Daisies. :)
