Ladies, I need your opinion on this proposal.

OK, here's the deal. We're going on vacation to the Bahamas in a couple weeks and I wasn't planning it but now I'm going to. My ideas is...

Ask her to get up early with me one morning so we can watch the sun rise on the beach over the ocean. While we're down there at some perfect point I will pull the ring out and ask her to marry me.:notsure:

Sound good, thoughts, suggestions? Props, timing?

The other option I was thinking as to have a dolphin swim it over. It would be more expensive but maybe worth it. We can both swim with the dolphins while we're there and I've seen some on youtube, the dolphin brings something over in it's mouth that says "Will you marry me". Thoughts on this one? Corney?

hi....i found that your idea is great and very romantic. just try to make sure you don't sleep late the night before. i bet you would be very excited as the hours tick away so i suggest you make preparations while she sleeps...

I think both sound very sweet. You know her best, if she is a morning person I say go with the sunrise idea, it will be nice a quiet and calm out and very pretty. BUT if she is totally not a morning person, if she still would be rubbing her eyes she may look at you like, what? *yawn* you know? lol in that case the dolphin idea might be better. Like I said, you know her best.

My FH proposed in a similar way, except it was in the evening on the beach, in the moonlight. It was sooo perfect. So there's another idea - probably better if she isn't a morning person. Otherwise yours sounds perfect!

Personally, I'd say the dolphins are a little over the top, but if she LOVES dolphins that may be the way to go. I personally liked the fact that we were alone on the beach (privacy) in the moonlight (romantic) and that he asked me with words. But every girl is different.

I agree that the proposal should be done with words on the beach, either sunrise or moonlight. They both sound romantic! I think the dolphin idea is kinda cheesy... :sorry:

I think the beach thing sounds better. Plus what if the dolphin drops it in the water cause she screams out of excitement or something?

You will want to make sure to definitely have it at least in your carry on. It might actually be best to secure it in your pocket through security, in case they seach your bag you don't really want them to pull it out in front of her, plus you'd be able to avoid sticky fingers...

Coming from another brother, the dolphin one does sound cool. But the beach is more personal, one on one. Get her some flowers and stick the ring in it. I did that with my wife and she went "crazy".

I'm personally a dolphin LOVER hehe so the dolphin idea to ME is an excellent idea and it shows you REALLY love and care the more effort (not necessaily money) you put into it.
It also (like other said) depends on her...is she a morning person, or does she like the beach, etc.
I also love the beach idea....just try to incorporate you two as a couple into whatever you do otherwise she's gonna know something's up....however you propose I think she will see all the details small and large and it will be the perfect setting for the both of you...good luck and let us know how it works out :)

Maybe you could do both in a sense - go swim with the dolphins together during the day, and after that take a walk on the beach in the moonlight and talk to her, ask her with your words. I think that would be just perfect.
Having the dolphin ask just doesn't sound right to me - sorry.
