End of the year contest coming soon

It will be a couple of weeks before we get this together, but I wanted to let you all know about it.

We want to try to do sort of an awards contest, kind of like the Emmy's/Grammy awards. So we can start getting categories together and nominating people for things like "Best advice", "Funniest poster", "Friendliest", etc ...

We have to work out the details and how the winners will be chosen, but I thought it would be a fun contest to do and sort of fitting for the end of the year.

Thoughts? Ideas?

This sounds so fun! I like Serendipity's idea of taking the top 5 noms and then us voting on them. Hah! It'd be super cool if you could get everyone in the chat room all at the same time (pick a date and time) when the "ceremony" would be taking place awarding the winners! :smile: :hi:

If I may suggest a couple seprate awards for the vendors
A couple sepertate awards for the staff of OW
A couple seperate Awards for all ready married
ETC, ETC.
Then some genral awards everyone can hone in on.

And one for the most devious secret santa.

I was thinking of having like 10 categories and having you all make nominations for the member you think fits; via PM will probably be easiest. Then we (mods/admin) will review and post a poll to vote for each category. Then we (mods/admin) will review (to make sure one person doesn't win more than once) and post the winners.

There would be maybe 5 "prize" winners and 5 "title" winners.
