Hello everyone! I'm new here...Scott and I will be married September 15, 2007...I found you guys through onewed. We hope to start really trying for a child after. We'd love a little souvenire from our honeymoon, haha. We aren't trying NOT to have one at the moment, but not actively keeping charts and whatnot.

Anyhow...I just thought we'd start our journal by introducing us. We can't wait to start a family. So for now...I will keep be poking around, reading journals, reading posts and researching!!!!

Hello everyone. I don't update much but I lurk quite a bit. I'm getting super frustrated that I can't seem to get my cycle figured out. I'm so irregular...blah...I think right now I'm in my 2ww time frame. But I can't be positive. I'll either start my period (or hopefully not!) on October 22nd or on October 29th. Around the 29th is where I typically start but its not always exact...the other time I usually start is around the 22nd. Dunno...confused out of my mind, hahahaha! Is anyone else REALLY irregular???
----------------------------

AirforceWife
I am not irregular, but I have my period around the 29th. So what I would do is check your ovulation when you have your period on the 29th and the 22nd and just go in between there. Not really sure what else to do.. I am sure that would be be pretty frusturating!! There are other signs of your body that tell you, you are ovulating and you can go by those. Search them on the internet, it is with your tempature, your discharge, etc. So I would look more into that way to check your ovulation rather then depending on your period. Good luck TTC!

I've been looking at cm...maybe i need to go a little while longer before I see the pattern....dunno...blah!!!

I was lucky to have a regular period, so I can't help you there. But if you want help in finding out when you are ovulating each month there are a couple different things you can do. One is taking your temp. Using BBT you take your temp at the same time every morning, before you get out of bed. The rise and fall of the temps help to let you know when ovulation will accure. I used the website, Fertility Friend to plug my info into and it charted it and showed me when O would take place.
A book that might be worth reading if your interested....
Taking Charge of Your Fetility. A lot of ladies on here have read it and it is an excellent source!

Did the website pinpoint it pretty well?

Yes it did. It will teach you how to chart also. There is a free section (that's what I used) and you can also pay to get more options.

Good Luck with the charting!! I do it with them too and i love it. It's been very helpful for us esp. now that we are getting medical help.
I would suggest charting for a couple months and if you cannot find a pattern check with your Dr. about it. Have you recently stopped BCP or anything like that?

Sooo...totally off topic here...I went to a Maroon 5 concert last night and met the band!!! My sister won tickets on the radio and took me for my birthday! YAY! Here is pic of my sis and I with the band and another couple of radio winners. My sister and I are in black tanks...sis in jean skirt, me in jeans.

HaHa! I thought they looked kinda grungy too. They didn't smell...apparently, it takes a lot of work to look that nasty...but boy did they clean up fairly well on stage, haha. The meet and greet was kind of lame...didn't get that much time but I'm sure they were busy...the concert was amazing though...loved every minute of it...was singing and dancing with my sister. Good times!

Well...I feel like I'm sitting here twiddling my thumbs, haha. Everyone around me here seems to be getting pregnant. I'm trying to be happy for them. But deep down I'm uber jealous...I know it...I think they do too. I also work part time at Target...every time I hear the call box that someone is signing up for 'Target Baby' I wanna go kick the machine, haha. Pleae tell me ya'll have been there so I don't feel like a total nutjob. Sitting here with all this waiting makes me wonder why it seems to be so easy to have an accidental pregnancy. Ugh...I think I'm just feeling sorry for myself today. I should get back to work, haha. Chat with you ladies later!

I went through the same time too. Steve would see a baby and point it out and I would just want to cry. Walking past the baby section was hard. And there were days in which I think only pregnant women and ones with babies were allowed in the supermarket and they forgot to tell me! I can not imagine how tough it is for people who have IF issues. My heart goes out to them. We waited 6 months for a BFP and those that have to go longer...I honestly don't know how they do it!

It will happen in time. Hard to hear I know. You wnat it now. My best friend who was in the delivery room with us and cut Grady's cord ishaving a very hard time getting pregnant. She is so tired of tryign and then it not happening. She has had some medical issues and such. She also has alot going on in her life and the stress of trying to hard is not helping her I am sure. They are here a coupel time a week and I know it must be hard. But htey love Grady ( and my other 2 ) to death.

Keep your chin up. Your allowed to have days like this. Vent away, we are all here for you.

Big Hugs!

It's so tough at times to deal with other pregnancies. I feel the same way at times were i am very jealous that it is so easy for some women.
You are not a total nut job! I totally understand.
I wonder why for some people getting pregnant is so easy and really difficult for others. I wish there was more information out there about how difficult it is for some women. But unfortunately it makes people uncomfortable to talk about at times.

Take care hun. I am here for you if you need to vent.

Well...I'm on cycle day 1 as of 930 this evening. That explains my sudden urge for chocolate on my 15 minute break at Target tonight, haha. They sent me home early...I am not feeling well...I think I'm coming down with the flu. Maybe its just a cold.

I have decided that THIS month is my month! So...baby dust this way please!!!!

Soooo...My OPK came back positive the last two days (I haven't tested today yet) so I'm hoping that for Christmas I get my BFP. I told Scott he's gotta make it happen one more time this week before I'll give him a break, haha. He laughed at me. He wants to give a grandbaby to his mom and g-ma for Christmas this year so he's trying hard too, haha.

Quick question for you ladies! I have had a positive OPK result for the last two days. Today, my OPK wasn't positive but there was still a faint line...does that typically mean conception chances are done? She I make it a point to BD tonight or should I let Scott sleep? HaHa...he's such a baby...

I guess I'll add my chart link:

Definitely!!! Wouldn't it be crappy is I got the stomach one this week?!? I wouldn't put it past my luck though...working in hotels by day and then Target by night, I come into contact with SOOO many people...We all carry germ-x type stuff in our pockets at Target and I keep a bottle in my purse for my day job...I almost feel like a germaphobe (sp?)

Just be careful. That stuff is highly flamable! A guy Steve works with used it and then lite a cigerette. Let's just say it wasn't a pretty site. So make sure your hands are dry after putting that stuff on before dealing with fire!
