I know this probably should be posted over in babyraising, but this board is more active, and I REALLY need opinions fast! I will apologize in advance for TMI, b/c it might be.
Some of you may know that I had a very light period that was during the course of a bladder infection, then I completely missed the next month, but this past month I had a normal one. So I was very relieved that I wasn't pregnant. Well, this morning, 2 and a half months after the initial period problem, I feel awful. I have felt queasy for about an hour, but I did throw up (and let me just say, I DON'T throw up, that's how sick I was feeling, b/c unless I have no choice, it stays down) and feel a little better, but I've also had dairrhea. Is it morning sickness? Or is it just an upset stomach? Either way I called work and explained the situation, and she said not to come in b/c if it is a bug the dont want the rest to get sick, but I feel bad b/c it's a new job and I've left early a few times for different, but valid reasons. Now I've called in and if I had waited I might have been able to go in b/c I don't feel like I am going to vomit now, just a little weak with an upset stomach. So what do you ladies think? Pregnant? Upset stomach?

I would go buy a home pregnancy test...just to be on the safe side...every woman's pregnancy is different.

Especially since winter time is among us it may just be a cold or start of the flu. Rest a bit and if you're still not settled, go get a home pregnancy test to make sure :) Best of luck and I hope you feel better :)

Do you have any other symptoms? Sore breasts, food aversions, cravings? It sounds like the flu to me. But if you are wondering and are trying, head to babyraising.com and ask around. but you can also by a hpt to see if you are. Good luck! Hope you feel better

So with the flu it comes out both ends? I am so sorry this is waaaaayyyyyy too much information, but I feel like poop! I NEVER throw up and it's been 2 in 2 hours and if its not that end, its the other. Augh, this sucks.

Last week I had a really bad sore throat and didn't feel sick besides, which was odd. But I took a bunch of Vitamin C, and whatever you don't use you get rid of. But last Monday I was throwing up and had diarhea too. We thought at the time it was something I ate. Then I felt like I was going to throw up Wednesday all night, and still had bad diarhea (sry TMI LOL), then Sunday night I threw up once and we still don't know why. I don't feel like it was the flu, but who knows because we went and got a prego test and it was negative (:whoohoo:).

Thats wierd! I mean i don't really feel bad other then just weak from throwing up, I guess. I don't feel achy or anything, so maybe I just a stomach bug or something. Whatever it is, I hope it goes away soon!

Lize ... Go to the store RIGHT NOW and get a test!!! Take it, then let us know what it says. You won't know for sure til the test is positive or negative. Then you can rest a little easier.
I have never been pregnant before so I don't know for sure ... but to me is sounds like you might jsut have some sort of stomach bug. If you had the flu you would KNOW it b/c you feel like you are going to die.
Good luck and let us know!!!

It sounds like a stomach bug to me. Are you running a temp? Either way I agree with everyone else, take a home pregnancy test to be sure.

I think I am going to go with the stomach bug. If I feel like this again I promise I will take a pregnancy test! Thanks ladies for the advice!

Did you eat anything different the day before? It could also be a mild case of food poisoning.
Just make sure you stay hydrated, if you can't keep water down then you might need to check yourself in to a hospital so they can give you an IV if it gets really bad.

I didn't really eat anything different, but we did have ground beef in our dinner so I guess it's always possible, but DH feels fine. I finally got hungry a little while ago, so I had a PB sandwhich and it has so far stayed down. I'm still a little hungry, but nothing sounds good and I don't feel like fixing anything. It must've just been a bug, I guess.

Well you do have to admit there are a lot of things people don't talk about when it comes to symptoms...
Plus a lot of things doctors don't tell you about when it comes to the actual delivery.
But, either way, I don't think that's a normal pregnacy side-effect, however, I didn't even get morning sickness... :bbwink:

Or could be a small case of food poisoning. Me and the wife had that once, and both ends were blessing the toillet gods.

If you don't want to be preg. don't forget that your pill will not be effective if you have been throwing up or have been having diarria (sp?.. I never have to spell that word lol) So if you are using the pill you might want to use another protection method for a few days if you don't want a baby!

If you had a normal period last time, then I don't think you have anything to worry about. Its just that time of year when everyone gets sick. When I was pregnant I never had diarrhea, I did have loose stool, but not diarrhea.... TMI sorry....
the only way you'll know is if you test.....
or you can go to http://www.thepregnancytester.com , and it'll tell yo if your pregnant :worm: haha and who the father is
