I bought a really cute purse on ebay, i think i paid like $12 and it was exactly what i wanted, just a small clutch, but it has a vintage look to it. I really found alot by searching for "white satin handbags"

I searched high and low for a clutch purse to match my dress (cream with pearls). I finally found one on Ebay. It came from Hong Kong. It was one of my bigger expenses at $40. LOL

I had mine made at Lill Studio (http://1154lill.com). I love it so much.

Well from many nights of going out with the girls and not wanting to take a purse... I am just sticking my ID and money in my corset.... I dont need a purse, as for needed touch ups with makeup I will probably just have a little bag to go with me....

I got mine at DB --- it was only $15 and is so cute! They were having a sale. I wish I had a pic of it but it is just a small white satin purse.

There is a room in the hotel where I am getting married just for the bride to get away for awhile a freshen up. I will leave my things there.

I don't think that I'm going to carry a purse at all. I have seven girls...somebody can carry something!

Hum I didn't even really think about that. I guess I'll leave most of my "purse stuff" in my room and entrust my cell phone to my sister, as well as makeup and stuff - I'll just need to remember to grab it at the end of the wedding so I can have it all on my honeymoon. I don't want to have to worry about carrying a purse around.

thanks everyone. you all were really a lot of help. i'd love to not carry a bag but reality is i'm gonna have to. so i will look for a VERY small light satin bag becaue we're getting married at the monte carlo but that's where we are not staying. if we stayed there i'd definetly leave my stuff in the hotel room. we haven't gotten our room yet but we are def not staying at the monte carlo with their crazy rates... WOAH!

I'm not sure if I will carry a purse or not. It seems like it would be a pain to carry around with me and make sure I don't forget when leaving the reception. But there are a few things that I always need to have - like my lip gloss!

I got mine online at anntaylor.com. They had quite afew shapes and styles, and best of all, they match their shoes.

A very small drawstring bag or clutch with a wrist strap can be carried by the bride. Traditionally (and anciently) known as a "reticule", they can hold essentials and small sized gifts ($$$) handed to the bride. They can be left at your place at the bridal table, or attached to your gown by a button should you choose.
I will definitely have one, since I usually carry only a wallet, and my dress will have no back pocket like my jeans.

Can your purse be your "something borrowed"? Do you have a family member or a bridesmaid with more cute bags than she knows what to do with, or a former bride who kept her bag as a keepsake? I raided my future MIL's closet for my purse. It's a cute little silver evening bag that matches my shoes.

Anything I may need will have to be shoved into my daddy's pockets cause Im not going to worry about a purse. What if some weirdo comes in and takes off with it, granted it would most likely only be my phone in there along with my id but I dont want to risk it so I'll give it all to my daddy and get it from him at the end of the night.

You could always just leave what you need in the glovebox of your car (if your driving yourself) and if you need something have someone run out and get it for you. Or if the Monte Carlo has a front desk maybe if you tipped nicely they would hold the stuff for you?

thing is the monte carlo can but i trust no one when it comes to my personal stuff. that's why i was gonna bring the bare minimum in a small clutch (foundation, lip gloss, eyeliner and my id and 1 card)

but fyi everyone, i found lots of white clutch purses at claries and icing at the mall the other day. they were really pretty and some had beads and decorations. they range from $12-$20 a purse!
