What are you getting FH for Christmas?

I knew I wanted to get FH some comfy slippers to match his robe...so I did. And I couldn't help but already give them to him! So now I got nothin' for him. LOL

He also wants an Xbox 360 Arcade...but that's like $300. Not sure about that yet. :bblol:

He also really likes all things puppets. Odd, I know. Hehe! But I'm looking at getting him a professional one. It's about $200, but still. I think he'd like that a lot.

ANYWAY.

What you getting your man? I need some more ideas! :frogg:

DH said he wants a stingray wallet. *Shrugs* I'll see if I can find one. He also mentioned he's never had a robe and insists on wearing a hotel one we got (don't ask). So I'll try to find a decent looking one for him.

I'd love love love to get him a Wii, but I didn't have the money before the wedding, and now it's too late (or way too expensive).

I can't say what I'm getting my wiffey. It's a secret, and unfourantely, if I told you ladies, I'd have to tie you all down and gag you all till after Christmas, just for security reasons
But I will tell you it's something she really wants!!!!!!

Ooh, whoever said Wii points, that's a good idea.

I got him a new wallet (and I hope he doesn't ever come on OW--I made prints of the first pic he ever saw of me--we met online--and I stuck it in the wallet hehe)

Nintendo PJ pants

A DS game he had been begging for

I know there's something else but I can't remember what. Last year we spent like 300 dollars on each other so we decided to cut back this year. My wallet is pleased with our decision ;-)

DH buys so much for himself all year around, so he is sort of hard to buy for.

I wanted to get him an iPod last year, but he got it for himself a few months before Christmas. A couple of years ago I was gonna get him satellite radio, but he got it himself :geek:

I always end up getting him clothes; sometimes I will luck up and find a CD he wants and hasn't got for himself yet :p

All of our money is going to the wedding and house stuff right now. We said we arent buying for each other but I bought him jeans, 2 polos, I think thats it. I think he is going to get me a wallet, thats the only thing I really need besides furniture and a house, lol!

So far I've gotten him a jacket, a new work shirt, and pj pants. I am just like you and lost on what to get. We are limited on funds. I know he wants a new computer so that he can play a video game that has been out forever, but I can't exactly afford that right now.

I have almost everyone else on my christmas list done though. Black Friday ended up being fun and worth it. I also found some cool stuff for myself. lol

Well I don't have to buy anything this year. He as gotten himself a set of headers, Xpipe and new rear end for the Vette. We are going to Virginia Beach to get it installed next week. That is to be his Christmas.
Last year I got him a book on Baseball. A bucket, sponges, micro fiber rags, wax, just about anything you need to wash a car. He calls it "Baby" and thank goodness I grew up with a car crazy brother or I would be so upset about how much attention he pays "baby".

Well, I told FH today that I'd either buy him a full body professional puppet ($250) or an Xbox 360 Arcade ($275). So we'll see which one he chooses. He REALLY wants both and is having a hard time making his mind up...but I can't afford both of 'em with the wedding coming up. LOL

I'm also going to get him a couple of movies, some pajama pants (thanks for suggesting that one!), and some non-skid socks, though. :bblol:

I also want to get him a good digital picture frame, but the ones I was looking at were about $130. Ugh. I need a raise! :geek:

I am going to get my FH some stuff for his drum kit. He's been playing the drums since August and is really into it!

I also ordered him these groom boxers (first item on that page for $15.95)

Scott is the most impossible person to shop for. I think we are skipping Christmas for ourselves this year. We'll buy for fam and the dogs will get new squeaky toys but we need a new kitchen desperately, so we are going to save what we would have spent on each other and redo our kitchen with real cabinets that I can fit stuff in and I think we are taking out a wall to make a larger kitchen. I will prob get him a new pair of jeans and a couple shirts though.

We don't celebrate but every new year I get him a personal calendar by Edward Gorey. If only he'd use it more often.

We never give Christmas gifts. Instead we go to the mall and select an "angel" from the angel tree and buy gifts for them. It is soooo much fun shopping for a little boy or girl who is in need. THis year we have a boy (b/c last year we had a girl) who is 9 years old and we are going to buy him something really nice ... he asked for some sort of gameboy ... We are going to look on ebay and see if we can find a cheap one. We already bought him some socks, shirts and 1 pair of pants. Brandon also bought him a football with the University of Georgia logo on it.

Since this will be our first Christmas living together ... we decided to just get each other an ornament to add to the tree and then continue to do it every year after.

We celebrate each others birthdays pretty big ... but it is soooo much more fun to shop for a child who needs things to unwrap than for each other.:candycane:

When I was in 4-H we'd always go to the mall and do Angel Tree Shopping. It was fun, they still do it too.

I don't know what I'm getting Chris. We really don't have money right now, so I'm more worried about getting stuff for my family...I still need to get something else for my parents, and then my brother.

Chris is always looking at Wii games, but I don't want to spend $50 on one, and I don't even know which ones he'd want! I could always get him something for the Camaro, but then he'd know about it because he's have to pick it out! LOL.

Could you do a gift certificate somewhere for the Camaro? That is a way to get him something that he would want but keep it a surprise.

He normally buys off ebay. I wonder if they have gift cards or something.

I think they do have gift cards! Now that is a great idea for the person who has everything!!! Who would not LOVE an ebay card where the possibilities are endless!

That is too funny! My hubby loves puppets too; for his dream job, he'd be a puppeteer, heheh! He imitates puppets (out of blankets and socks), just cracks me up! I took him to an adult puppet show; it was funny and a little weird. He also enjoys his PlayStation and XBOX. He wants a PlayStation 3, but it's $400! I told him maybe next year when I get my raise.

FH and I decided to spend no more than $75 on each other (but it'll be hard to stay in that limit)...

So far I've gotten him, AI (movie), boxers (he needs them BAD), some delicious cookies, Axe body spray and gel, a giftcard to Woodcraft (a wood-working store)...

I don't know what else to get him... he won't give me any more ideas!
