ohhhhhh that's pretty! I like it :) Is it going to be in colour?

ETA to add .... what are you changing? The only thing I might suggest is to change the butterfly that is flying down so that he is flying upwards :)

ETA .... what are you changing? The only thing I might suggest is to change the butterfly that is flying down so that he is flying upwards :)That is one of the things I want to change ;-) Also I think move the bigger butterfly down some and maybe change the shape of the tree; I don't like how it curves at the top and I don't think I like the leaves.

LOL - After looking at it again, there were about 4 or 5 things I want to change. I hope dude is not upset with me :notsure: But I am the one that has to wear it forever ;-)

I hear ya ... if I was ever to get one it would have to be exactly how I envisioned it. LOL Anything less and he/she would be drawing it again and again and again.

So I finally got the design tweaked to where I like it; here is the final sketch ~

http://tinyurl.com/2d9qbx

We decided to do the tree and butterflies full color and the clouds/fog and moon in black and gray.

It will probably be next weekend before I can get it, but I am excited :geek:

Wow that looks like pain. Lots of intricate designs...ugh!
I have 2 tats of butterflies but they are not THAT big....compared to your new one.

I have 2 tats of butterflies but they are not THAT big....compared to your new one.Yeah, the estimate was 4-6 hours; won't be fun, but it will be worth it ;)

This is not the biggest one I have either ;) I have a much larger piece on my back that took I think a little over 6 hours; but this new design is more detailed.

Love the butterflies. Can't wait to see the finished piece. I'm so craving another tattoo right now, maybe this winter.....I'm long overdue.

Better you then me:D Cause I'll admit I'm deathly afraid of needles.
I even passed out when I had my ear pierced. (Low blood sugar that day)
I know I'm such a wimpy man:bblol:

That is pretty .... I really like the changes and oh, the colour possibilities are endless!

Even though I am not afraid of needles, I do not go looking for pain and so, I agree with Matt ... better you than me. :)

It will be on my outer left calf; we decided to do the tree and butterflies full color and leave the clouds/fog and the moon black and gray.

I am excited to get it; probably next weekend.

ETA - Yeah, I don't really like needles; I actually don't like blood tests and such much at all. But the tattoo is something I can handle because I look forward to the finished piece :D

Thanks :)

I can't wait to get it; I was gonna get it today, but I am just getting over a cold. Then dude doesn't work Mon - Wed; then I was thinking it might not be good to leave my dogs at home alone for so long.

DH works through the week and wouldn't get home till like 8pm and the dogs have never been left for more than 5 hours at a time. So unless dude can work me in later in the day on Thurs or Fri, then it will be Sat or Sun next week before I get it.

OK, here it is ...

http://forums.onewed.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1868&stc=1&d=1199666091

Most of the background is gray shading and will fade as it heals; it sort of looks bad right now.

The whole thing ended up only taking 3 1/2 hours, but still wasn't fun ;) I really like it though, so it was worth it :D

can you put Neosporin on it, it could help with the itchy stage :)

Not Neosporin, but Bacitracin (sp?); it is sort of like Neosporin. But at this stage it is best to just use a pure lotion to keep the skin moisturized.

Brandi that looks AWESOME!! I have always wanted to get a tattoo but never found something that I wanted badly enough to put on my body. I guess if I ever find that one thing I will but until then i will admire others tats. My MOH has a huge griffin on her side and a panther on her other side. So I have plenty of tats to look at lol
