SO here in Iowa we are getting our first snow storm. I HATE IT!!!!! Don't get me its very pretty.

I live in the northern part of IL (just south of Chicago) and they have a chance of snow today... and hehe I am 2 hours south visiting family for the holidays!!

but... it has been pouring down rain all day :(

same here in MO...it's been raining and they said it was gonna rain and sleet today and "chances" of snow tomorrow but I dunno...personally I hate winter and hope it doesn't snow ever again but I doubt that will happen :)

It's not the snow I hate but all the crazies on the road. Half of them don't have winter tires installed on their car and the rest of them seem to have forgotten what it's like to drive on snow!

There is no snow where I live either. It's a beautiful day today. I have seen snow though. That's the cool thing about California. I can travel about 2 hours from where I live in any direction and have a total different climate and terrain.

We have about two inches of snow on the ground and currently its freezing rain.. oh I LOVE vermont. :)

We got our first snow fall on monday. Ended up with a total of 5 inches. Of course, we are back to near 60 degree temps today and the snow is all gone. At least it didn't last long!
I am not a winter person so I didn't like it. I enjoyed last yeare where we didn't get our first real snow fall unti Frbruary. Starting too early for me this year!

VERY northeast Illinois here, we make a triangle with Wisconsin and Lake Michigan. It's been cold and raining allllll day and supposed to get 1-3 inches of snow tonight. Ugh. It's pretty, but that's about all I like it for.

I miss snow but sure am glad its nice down here in south florida. I think snow is pretty to look at but despise when it freezes and gets slippery.

We are expecting about 15 - 20 centimetres (5.5- 8") .... not bad considering they are calling for over 11 inches south east of Montreal :)

The best thing is ..... I am working from home tomorrow so I don't have to head out in that mess.

No snow in sight...in fact there was just an article that says Lake Tahoe Ski resorts are opening with all man-made snow! YIKES!!

I am so jealous!!! We NEVER get snow. I have only seen it a few times in my life! Today the high was 75 ... tomorrow on Thanksgiving the high is going to be in the mid 60s!!! I am not complaining though ... I don't do well in the cold!

I have seen snow that was really heavy only one time.... we had a blizzard here back in 94 or something ... it was sooo cool. Usually if it snows here though we only have an inch or 1/2 an inch. It is so funny too b/c the ENTIRE town shuts down and grocery stores sell out of bottled water and canned meat. I swear .. people go NUTS when it snows here, if there are ever REAL northern people here during that time ... they would think that we had lost our minds the way everyone acts when a snowflake falls.

WE had our first snowfall yesterday. We got a couple of inches. It has been slightly raining this evening though so it wont stay. But I hate the ice. I love the snow. I love how it looks ( before it gets all dirty ) and I love to get so much of it that you can't go anywhere. The kids made their first snow man already. I do hate driving in it though. It is not me , but I ahte the other drivers. You have lived here ( New Enlgand, Maine and New Hampshire for me ) most of you all yous lives and you forget how to drive in it every single year.

I almost cried this morning when i got up for work and saw that there was snow on my car. Hopefully it doesn't stick.. i don't have a garage, so snow is a pain in the butt for me!! lol

I am soooo excited that winter is finally here... I am not a spring summer person, give me ice, cold, snow, and more snow. I am looking at the bright side of not getting into clinicals... I get to go snowmobiling this year!!!!!!

I LOVE snow! We don't get a lot of it very often. When we do get snow it is maybe an inch or two and doesn't last all that long. We definitely get seasons, but sometimes they get confused or skipped lol. Like Wednesday I was in a T-shirt and flipflops. Yesterday I was in a heavy coat and a scarf! The last couple of years we have seemed to skip spring and fall-both seasons only lasted for a few days, then it's really hot or really cold. It would be easier on my allergies to just have one season! Gotta love Kentucky :)!
