Just talked to someone who had a HALLOWEEN themed weddign and she said as favors she gave Miniture candle apples and miniture pumpkin baskets with candy. She said she found on ebay about 200 ghost and pumkin miniture candy holders (she said it held about 5 or 6 pieces of candy, tootsie rolls etc etc like this
http://www.centurynovelty.com/catImages/209-584_small.gif and put 5 or 6 piece of candy in it. then about 3 weeks before the wedding she made miniture candy apples from take whole apple and melon ballers and peeling the apple and using the melon baller to make the roundness and then using a long stick as the holder and dipping. She said she got a TON of the mini candy apples out of the 1 apple and she froze them (i didnt ask how they were, i would have felt funny, didnt know her that well.. my brothers g/f gfriend) She said she dipped them like regular though and each person got one at their seat.. i think this is super cool :) i have always liked tht idea. never met someone that did it.
hehe just thought i would pass it along

Sounds kind of neat, but if I did a "halloween" wedding, I'd be worried it'd get to "theme-y"... BUT, instead of doing halloween centered stuff, you could always just do the black and orange (and dark purple) as colors, and still get the halloween vibe.

I have a few friends doing the Halloween theme. It's too much fun, I'm jealous, hehe! Guests get to come all costumed up! Little trick-or-treat favors. Just a blast all around!

My FH and I are having a Halloween Wedding :)
Sometimes I think I'm insane and that we've gotten a little carried away, but we've had nothing but excited and intrigued questions about it. We're going to do the Black, Orange and Purple colors, and I'm getting married in a black and purple dress.
We've also decided to do the mini-caramel apples. My FMIL and I will be making them the day before, along with my MOH. Lady Apples are available nearly everywhere, and I'm going to my local Whole Foods to see if I can buy them in bulk this week.
So far, it's been really exciting to plan, although I'm having a tough time finding invitations that we like.

We've just recently decided to do a Halloween wedding and I'm soooo excited about it!! :D I've gotten a lot of "are you serious?" when i tell people about it- but I don't care- it's what I want! It is kind of hard to find "wedding" theme things in black tho- but we're not getting married until next year- so we have all kinds of time left.

My parents will be celebrating their 27th wedding anniversary this year on October 31st! They had a formal ceremony/reception and then a costume party at their house after all of that. They said they had a huge turn out for it. Judging by the pics, you can tell everyone had a blast! I'm excited to see all of your projects! Everyone on here is so crafty & has really cool ideas! :D

I am getting married on Halloween this year. We just decided a couple months ago but we're not really going for a Halloween theme. It will have some fall details and the one Halloween thing is that we're probably going to do a candy buffett and caramel/candy apples with little Halloween themed bags for the candy. We might do little pumpkins as placecard holders too.

I found some really cute Halloween cake boxes on ebay...36 for $15.00 and they can hold cake (of course) or candy and things.
