When I got to the daycare to pick up my son tonight on eof the parents I have known since before he was born ( actualy her daughter was born 2 days later then my son ) informed me she is moving out of her apartment to move closer to her family. She will be moving out at the end of Feb. She has a 3 bedroom at a good price and it includes the heat in the rent. It is alot bigger then mine. It is 2 floors, the second and thrid floors, on one floor is a small bedroom and kitchen bathroom ( only down fall no bath tub ) . living room and dining room and up stairs is an attack transformed into 2 seperate bedrooms. She is going to let the landlord know she has some one who is looking for a new apartment.
And when i got home there was a message on my answering machine about a job I applied for. It would pay $11 to $13 an hour and with experience it would lean more towards the higher. Still at $11 it is $2 more then I am making right now. I have to check my schedule and call her back for a more indepth interview. I did tell her that I would need time off in June for my wedding and she said she would check with her superviser because that is the peak season.
PLEASE PLEASE cross your fingers for both of these to fall through. I cant tell ya how bad we need a bigger apartment and I need a better paying job.
I will keep ya posted but I HOPE I GET THEM BOTH!

My fingers are triply crossed for you!
Good luck! Is this like a show where if you say good luck it curses it?
Ok, just to cover my bases:
Break a leg!
Fall off the stage!
And let's not forget my favorite:
Break a heel!
Ok, I think I got my bases covered!

We are going to look at the apartment tonight after we eat. The landlord told the girl who lives there have us come look at it and then she will give us an application to fill out. Hey it's a step right? Hopefully in the right direction.
Hope everything goes well sounds like you could do with some good luck :goodluck:

We looked at the apartment and WE LOVE IT!!! The girls who lives there is going to let the landlord know I want it and she will get in touch with me.
I also had my job interview tonight. They seemed to like what I had to say and asked if I would be interested in the job after hearing about it. I said yes and they said they need to fill this quick so they are doing to make a decision and call me by early next week.
You all still have those fingers crossed for me?
This means longer hours and a crazy busy work day. But hey I can handle it for 2 to 3 dollars more an hour.

Well I didn't get the job. Oh well. Now I am thinking that "IF" we get this apartment I am going to try babysitting. I can't stay at this dead end job any more. they don't pay enough and I don't want to have to force sales down peoples throats. I love my job but I don't want to be a sales person , if I did I would not be in banking.
the apartment sounds like it might be ours but I am not getting my hopes up just yet. The landlord told the woman who lives there ow that she is going to drop off an application for her to give to me. Then she will meet with us.
So wish me luck. If I get htis we should be able to move by the end of Feb. or early in March. Once we are settled I am going to put an add in the paper for babysitting. I have 7 yrs. of child care behind me. And gettign a few kids to watch should not be hard.

Sorry to hear you didn't get the job. Better luck next time. I know how that can be...I spent quite awhile fruitlessly job searching. If it wasn't for a temp agency, I'd still be fruitlessly job searching.
We are also in the process of looking for a new apartment, although Jason doesn't know it yet. I don't know if I can stand the neighbors anymore. So I thought I'd look around and see what I could find. I did find an apartment that's $75 less a month than what we're paying with utilities included. I forgot to ask if they allow cats...as I have one I will not give up (I have pics I can post soon!).
I hope you get the apartment you want! Good luck!
