I fit perfectly into the dress that I bought on saturday, but its a size 10 :( this is pretty big for me considering that 2 years ago I fit into a size 3. I just want to look better into my dress and have a hot body for my honeymoon. I am 5'4 and I weigh 135. My goal is to get to 115 by this time next year. All i need is motivation. there is a swimming pool and a fitness center in my apartment complex. I eat normal for my family. I eat what I was taught to eat when I was little. I'm mexican and my diet consists of a variety of fried foods. So this will be my motivation. I will start working out and watching what I eat. I cut soda out of my diet years ago, so no worries there. Wich me luck :)

You're such a cutie and you do not look pregnant! I think that we're all used to seeing the stick figure girls in the magazines with no tummy at all. But I know that it does make it hard to lose weight when you're among the smallest of your friends. They tend not to be the most supportive because they say you don't *need* to lose weight. My FH is on the small side and I always feel that he's smaller than me too.

What is the popcorn diet? That does not sound healthy! lol

Oh, and if you cut back on the drinking you will lose weight! And if you start drinking more again you'll pack it back on quick too. It's happened to me!

All he ate was popcorn for lunch and dinner no breakfast; one bag only has 100 calories. He collapsed at the gym once and he had to go to the ER. He lost a ton of weight though.

Hey...we can do this together! I am also around 5'4" and weigh between 133-135. I want to be down to 125 by my wedding which is june 28th. I have almost the same body type as you. The pics of you in the mirror of your stomach, it is like looking at a pic of myself! I am little on top and then I deff have some hips, the ghetto booty, and a pooch in the stomach! Then my legs look normal, or at least i think they do to me! So we just need to come up with something to do and we can be each others motivators!! :geek:

yay! haha i've ALWAYS had the booty. Even at a size 3 my mom and friends called me bubble butt. My mom started taking this diet pill alli and working out alot and has lost 50 pounds in 1 year. She just bought me a starter pack of the same pill. It says that it lowers your body's fat intake, and saw on the news that itt really does, if you eat too much fat it makes your tummy hurt and you have to run to the bathroom so it;s basically a deterrent from fatty foods. The website provides a weekly check in that I just signed up for. I'm excited.

HAHA...thats funny, a couple years ago I also could fit into size 3 pants...hmmm..lol! BUT i still had that butt..hehe. My SIL bought those pills and said if oyu ate something that you werent supposed too, like junk food or something, it would just come straight out of you in like oil...I know gross huh? But if thats what gets you to stop eating bad then go for it! She lost a lot of weight too!

Diet pills scare me, so I bought those green tea diet pills...haha...I know it is the same as a diet pill, but makes me feel better since they say "green tea"!! I take those and my vitamins everyday and I went from 139 to 133. I was just exercising on fri, sat sun...30 minutes on a bike and then running 1 mile. I still ate what I wanted mainly, just LOADS of water and turkey sandwhiches. It can be done, just takes motivation...which I am in serious lack of!! But we will keep each other in check! and tell me how those pills work out for you!

I am just going to start posting what I eat on here everyday and get a ticker thingy and hopefully that helps. I go to college so I am super busy so all i am going to do is workout on fri, sat, sun and see how things work out!! Hey, I'm about the same height and weight as you... or at least I was last time I weighed myself (in like, August) ... let me tell you, you look GOOD! I don't mean that weird--I'm not sure where you're putting the weight because you can certainly find it on me lol. Anyway, point is, you look fantastic already--don't go crazy (or scary unhealthy) trying to lose weight. You don't have enough to lose 20 pounds!

omg, that's really terrifying. I can't believe 1) he was on a crazy starvation diet like that and 2) he was still going to the gym! If anyone I cared about were thinking of doing something like this, I would try to talk them out of it as best I could.

Yeah, you can burn lots of fat, but unless you're very obese, you also lose lots of muscle mass, which screws up your metabolism in the long-term unless you begin aggressively eating protein and lifting, and strain your internal organs.

so I'm scared about the side effects of alli right now, so I'm not eating fats at all right now.

Breakfast: 1 cup ofgo lean flax ceral

Lunch: turkey sandwich with a slice of cheese

Snack: half of a cucumber

Dinner: The rest if the cucumber

i worked out last night for the 1st time in months. 50 crunches, hand weights for a while, 30 min on the eliptcal. Oh my goodness I have asthma I couldn't stop coughing for a half hour after that.

breakfast: english muffin
lunch: english muffin w/ tomato sauce and cheese
dinner: I'd rather not eat.

Personally I don't think you are eating enough!!! If you are really worried soo much go to Jenny Craig or weight watchers. You should be very careful with working out 45 minutes and barely eating anything! It just does not seem like you are having a balanced menu.

You look great in your pics...maybe you feel differently, we ARE always our worst critics.... BUT our bodies do start to change as we get older! Tyra would say eat veggies and salad NOT starve yourself, which it seems like you are doing!

I would be very careful!

I've got to agree with missmess, but I'm probably a little more blunt. You ate less than 300 calories today. That's NOT healthy.

Yeah, continually eating less than 500 calories a day is considered disordered eating and can screw your metabolism for good as well as lots of other body processes like fertility, calcium levels, etc. 1200 is the recommended minimum. I try to stay around that number. Don't put so much pressure on yourself, girl!

Thinspiration is a term that's highly popular with the pro-ana community. This combined with everything else makes me worried.

no need to worry. I know many of those terms through friends who have had eating issues, hospitalized, and all. I know not to be too extreme with diting, it's not healthy.

breakfast: english muffin w/ jelly

lunch: tuna with lettuce, tomatoes, and pickle juice (YUM)

dinner: haven't gotten home yet, not sure maybe flour tortilla with beans.

workout Earlier today I worked out for an hour and a half. FH won't be home til late today I told him that I wasn't feeling well earlier after working out and told him I wasn't sure if I wanted to do more tonight, but he suggestd that I eat something little for dinner and work out more after. So I will, he won't be home forever tonight anyway.

Yeaaaah, ummmm I'm not sure ya do. Unless you're piling it on and eating a pound of jelly and tuna... umm so your breakfast today was probably about 100ish calories. You're lunch was maybe, MAYBE 400 calories, if you had a whole can of tuna in oil instead of water. Your idea for dinner isn't much either, a 10" flour tortilla is 200 calories and 1 serving of beans is only about 100 calories. Which gives you a total of 800 calories today. Plus you're taking pills and you're excersicing an abnormal amount per day.

I am kinda confused, why not eat healthier food and less carbs, then all of the starch etc you are eating. you should be eating like 1200 calories a day! You actually might end up gaining weight!!

I think that was more a comment towards eating a sub. A couple of the girls on here are worried about how little you are eating. You're going to to end up in the hospital. It's not healthy to eat less than 1200 calories. You're going to end up doing more harm than good to your body.

I was eating very little when i started taking alli, only because of the side effects if you eat too much. It's gross seriously. It's a huge detterant, but I'm sure I'll be eating more over the weekend because it's the weekend.

Just remember that your body already looks good, so dont cut out so much food :) Just fill in some snacks in between each meal....like some fruit or some carrots. It is ok to eat, just good sutff :frogg: Just try and eat a big breakfast, that is the most important meal of the day!!! Good luck girlie:rassberry:

I think that the tuna sounds great, but the English Muffin and jelly is not really enough! Where is the protein?

Just be healthy and happy!!

You are still very young, your body changes greatly as you get older! Just be prepared for a healthy life style change, taking Alli and starving yourself is only a quick fix!

I worked out for the 1st time since last wednesday today. I found some porn on FH computer. It makes me want to look like them. Is that weird. The 1 reason I don't like porn... it sends out an unattainable (unless you're plastic) image of the perfect woman.

I def need to get back on track though. Christmas is coming up and I want my Santa outfit.

I know what you mean about the porn..my FH DOES NOT have it and if he did he would be in so much trouble..lol. But that is just me. Partly because the girls on there are so (well most of them) perfect...big boob tiny little stomach!! I dont think you are weird for wanting to look like them, but most of that is camera work too...just remember that! But I have been off track lately too with school I just dont have time to work out, but chritmas break I will be on that treadmill..lol! Good luck and are you still taking that ALLi stuff?? He didnt mind of course but I just dont think that he needs to watch other girls to do what he needs to do, that is what I am for!!! HAHA. :notsure:

Oh no! Me and some of my girlfriends used to bust open a bag of pretzels and dip them liberally in a can of frosting...only the "funfetti" type though. They stopped making that kind though...bastards! That stuff can sure get you into trouble! Just don't eat the whole thing! haha :frogg:

anyway I'm 5' 1" and weigh right at 120 lbs. (most of the weight is in the belly and is baby weight from my son) now before getting preggers I weighed 92 lbs. lol...and no It's not cause I didn;t eat or anything (quite the contrary actually) It's just the metabolism I had I guess...then got Pre Eclampsia during pregnancy and gained ALOT!!! so long story short I NEED to lose this weight...It has actually gone so far as to affect mine and Joe's ummmm, relationship lol (sadly) so, anyway if anybody has any ideas for "trimming up" please lemme know...I'm not necessarily wanting to lose weight just lose the belly lol

It's not very easy and sometimes not possible to spot reduce. Laying off of the sodium, alcohol, and carbonated beverages may help reduce some tummy pooch. Even being stressed out has been shown to possibly cause an increase in abdominal fat. Doing toning exercises can help too. However, if there's still a layer of fat on top of the muscle, there's only so much help that toning can provide. Cardio will help burn fat, but who knows where it will come from! After having a baby, the skin is stretched and it may not actually be possible to fix it with anything other than a tummy tuck or something. it just depends from woman to woman. It is worth trying though! Nothing bad can come from healthy diet and exercise! Good luck!

Hey you guys I compleely stopped working out after for a while and I just got back to it 2 days ago.

help me out lol I need some inspiration. I've gained so much since Turkey Day darn these holidays and all of this yummy family Mexican food. NO MORE! lol

So I'm torn. I've been soo much healthier with my eating habits and I'm stuck at 140. But I guess I'll try to incorporate a little more excersise and just not go over board. But I do need to start journaling meals again
