I made a peanut butter pie last night and it was so sweet and rich, but it turned out beautifully! Larry got a mouthful of cavities after just one bite! I just had to show off my handiwork because this is the first concoction I've made that was actually pretty. :whoohoo:

My bro served us up one once, and it was delicious. I have never been able to find a recipe for it though :(

Nope, no ice cream, but I suppose you could serve it frozen... that sounds good! Look for this recipe and more in the OneWed Cookbook! But remember, Ladies, YOU are the cookbook! Only you can make it happen, so submit your recipes today! It's never too late to submit!

Yum, peanut butter ice cream pie...could you mix the ice cream and peanut butter? I don't know if that would work! Lol.

I remember it having a rice crispy crust but this is the closest recipe that I could find. Now I want to make it! http://www.recipezaar.com/123618

1/2 cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
1/2 cup light corn syrup
4 cups cornflake cereal (I use "Clusters" brand ONLY)
1 quart vanilla ice cream, slightly softened (prefer Breyer's Natural Vanilla)
chocolate syrup, optional for garnish
peanuts, optional for garnish

Stir together peanut butter and syrup in a medium to large sized bowl.
Add Clusters brand cereal and stir until evenly coated.
Press half of this mixture into the bottom of a 9" pie plate.
Scoop and press ice cream into bottom "crust".
Top with remaining "crust" mixture.
Return to freezer.
Remove from freezer 5 minutes before serving.
Optional: Serve drizzled with chocolate syrup and sprinkled with peanuts.
I usually prefer this without either the chocolate syrup or the peanuts, but it's great either way!
Recipe can be doubled to fit 9x13 dish.
Cooking/Prep times do not reflect the hour or so needed to let this dessert firm up in the freezer after prep.

You mean you have some left?!! LOL if that was in my house, it would be gone within the sitting. Heck, why bother with dinner ..... we'll skip right to the dessert.
