missed you guys!

Hey everybody, I'm so excited that I just had to share - I got the internship at the hospital I applied to!! I love it down there and all the people are trying to help me out by talking to the person in charge to get me hired!! That's why I haven't been around for a couple of days (I'm doing nights from 7 to 7 two times a week) so I feel like I've missed so much!! Just wanted to say that I've missed you guys, and now I've gotta get caught up!

I second that...with two jobs, lots of work, and traveling last weekend, I haven't really been able to get on here and actually post. I've got a TON of catching up to do!

Thanks you guys!! Nikki - yeah it's a pretty busy hospital. I'm in the infant intensive care unit. We're on our feet about 9 to 10 hours I would say depending on how many babies are there. But I love the fast pace and it is slow some nights (the first night we were probably on our feet like 6 hours, if that).

WOW! That would probably be the ONLY place in a hospital I would want to work...with the babies I mean. BIG TIME CONGRATS!

I have been thinking about going back to school to be a NICU nurse. I'd love to talk to you about your experiances there. I have been thinking about going for a while, but I don't know a ton about it, so I'm kinda holding myself back from doing it.
