Fri the 13th/ valentines day theme and colors HELP

So my FH and I have set the date to Friday the 13th 09, which is the day before Valentine's Day. I think I want to do a v-day theme. So there is the obvious red. What else/ I was thinking black because of Fri the 13th I love red and black together... but I'd rather not scare the old fashioned people in my family. What about red and chocolate brown? help

Maybe you could incorporate pinks as well to soften it up a bit? Where is the member who always posts the ribbon swatches? We need her!

I really like this combo. You've got the red (v-day) and black (the 13th), but you also have the brown and pink which lighten it up and kind of makes me look forward to spring.

No way do bloody valentine theme!!! LOL J/K you could do classic red and white as well maybe a little siver and black too. You could also do alot of diffrent shades of reds and pinks too.
