Hey girls-

I was thinking that yes- I do want some sort of video, but if I'm going to invest the $Texas in a photographer- the video can be "extra". SO- what if I set up a little area in the corner of wherever we have our reception for people to give us their best wishes.

Maybe there can be a sign that says, "Give Lauren and Jared your best wishes!" or something. Sure- it probably won't be as interesting as "The Real World", but maybe I'll enjoy it when I'm 80?

Oh, and I am not really inviting anyone that would steal my camera...(hahahaha, just wanted to cover my bases)

Anyways- thoughts? Been done? How did it work?

That could be fun. Or maybe just have your videographer walk around and ask people.

All I sawo nthe thread line was "Confessional at reception" I thought to myself, how wild is the party getting that you need to have the preists on hand!

Lacey, that was exactly what I was thinking....I was wondering why you needed a confessional booth at the reception, but that makes more sense.:)

Jason's family LOVES to video tape family events. So we're going to get our video from that. We figured by the time it gets passed around, everyone will have said something to us.

I like your confessional idea, but I would also make sure you've got someone picking up the camera for the important stuff; ceremony, first dance, cake cutting, bouquet toss, garter toss, etc...unless of course you're hiring someone for that...which would work too.
