I am helping to make stuff for my sister's 4-H bake sale on Friday. There are not very many people in the group. They all make the same stuff over and over like brownies and rice crispy treats. I used to be in this group and still help out when I can. I posted this in my journal too, so you might see it twice lol...I have to show them off ;).
When they cooled, the first batch and the worst lol:

I took a bite out of one (its sitting on our wedding napkins...the ones we forgot to take to the reception lol):

All wrapped up:

Nummies!!!! They look great!!!
I found some variations on them a while back .... have you got some left to do yet? They would make an adorable favour too .... just add a tag with names & a date.
Take a double stuffed oreo, put it on a stick and dunk it in melted chocolate. Then dip the cookie into coloured sprinkles. Attach paper leaves to the stick. Stick your flowers into a flower pot (with florists foam in the bottom).
Here is another way to make flowers - Attach coloured marshmallows to edges of cookie pop to form a flower, using chocolate to hold marshmallows in place. Repeat with remaining cookies and marshmallows. Refrigerate until set.
And another way -

That would be fun to try, but I used them all up! Lol. My mom came up with this idea a couple years ago, apparently someone else did too! Lol. I thought she was just creative. I thought that adding food coloring into the almond bark might look cool but never tried it. Or doing them white, as I did, and then making a little almond bark with coloring and then drizzling it over the white...I'll have to try those around Christmas!

Lol, no problem, I thought of it for our favors but it just would have cost too much I think...oh and you can decorate them with your colors! If you make them I can't wait to see pics! And if you make them, be sure to use the Double Stuf.

I first saw them about 8 years ago ... my SIL made them for a BBQ. I thought they were so cool and I tried make them for a craft show. The problem was that the sticks kept coming out of the cookie when I was dipping them. Did you have the same problem? I am wondering now if I used double-stuff ....

The first time I ever made them I had that problem. I melt the almond bark in a glass measuring cup because of the depth. Then I put the stick in about half way or so, dip it in with a fork supporting it on the bottom and then take it out with the fork supporting it. I was lucky this time, none of the cookies broke as I was making them.

So far tonight I have made 2 batches of banana bread. I made mini loaves and here is the first batch, the one on the left side was ruined so Chris ate it.

Yeah sometimes I'll make a regular loaf of bread, the mini ones, or muffins. They all taste the same!

If only I knew how to bake! I love to cook, but I am no Betty Crocker! I'm just not really good at baking, I've never really been. Makes me sad. :(

Thanks. I've picked up some things from my mom and g-ma. When Chris bakes, yes he bakes once in a while lol, he does some things that really annoy me! Lol. I try to give him advice or whatever and he says that I don't think its right unless its my way. Whatever lol.
