By the way ladies, I am at home today too. I got yesterday off for MLK day. And this morning I got a call saying that we didn't have to come in today because there is no water in the building. Woo Hoo! Four day weekend. I can FINALLY get my house cleaned. By the way, it is 11 am on a Tuesday and Iam still in my flannel pj's!

Hmmmmm.....I would love to have a whole day with no kids, no man. To just do what ever I want. I love my kids and I love Brian and love spending time with them, but I need sometime to myself. I havent quit smoking yet because when Im outside smoking is the only time nobody is needs me for something.
That figures! Im ruining my health to keep my sanity!

My best friend has two little girls (6 and 3) and her two step children (9 and 11) plus 2 dogs, a cat, a rabbit, and a husband in a house about half the size of the inverted shoe box that I live in. She called in tears the other day because she just wanted to pee in the bathroom all by herself. If the kids aren't walking in wanting her for something, then the dogs or the cat push the door open so that they can walk in a stare at her. Maybe the two of you should get together and start a privacy support group.

Sean travels so much that I actually get used to him not being here.

You know, I cant remember the last time I used the rest room without an audience! But I know where shes coming from. The same people that demand you respect their privacy dont respect yours. My kids wont talk to me until Im either on the phone or in the bathroom, then EVERYONE needs to tell me something.
About 3 months ago, Brian was b****ing about how late it was before I would get into bed. I told him that if I had help getting my stuff done, it wouldnt take so long. Well now he helps and its kinda a neat time for us.

I'm glad to be home now. There is freezing rain and the sidewalks are completely iced over. I pretty much skated home.
My sister in law has 3 kids 5 and under. She hardly has any time to herself. Once a month we try to get out so she can have conversations with other adults, and do somthing without one of the kids hanging off her or screaming in the background.
I have alot of time to myself because mark works 9-9 at the music store, and its an hour commute for him. It's great because i get alot done, but i get fustrated that when he is home sat, sun, mon he doesen't do much of anything. Ah well... its nice to take the time for a break with him.

I just threw a load of laundry in, vacuumed the bedroom and hall way, and am now going to tackle my closet. If you ladies don't hear from me in an hour, send help, the closet piles ate me!

Sounds like you had a fun day . I can put my 2 cents worth in my saying I can't pee alone. I can't even go into my room to get dressed and a kid or a cat is at my door. But this week end I could have gotten rid of the kids for 2 solid days. But that has been interupted. A kid in my daughters class is having a sleep over on Sat. night. So Sat. morning we take my son to his dads, I go to a baby shower in the afternoon and that means I can't drop my daughter off at her first sleep over, Nicholas is gonna have to. Then I pick her up (early Sunday morning, she is gonna ahte me for that, picking her up 2 hours early.) But I have to take her to her dads which is an hour away. Just to drive back and go 30 mins in the other direction to go the the bridal expo with a girl from. then home by 5 to get the kids when their dad brings them home. Can you say CRAZY WEEKEND!!! When do I get to relax?
