Are you just wanting edamame...or do you want, like, stir fry with edamame in it?
If you're just wanting to know how to cook the bean itself, just boil a pound of it in salted water for about 5 minutes.

What do I look for in the store?
I want just the beans to eat by themselves?

I didn't know what this was until I looked it up; so why don't they just call it a soy bean?

So I guess I'll look for it the refridgerated soy section. Boil in salty water for how long??
I get edamame pods in the freezer section with the vegetables. Then I just follow the package directions to cook them, most of the time in the microwave. I drizzle with a little soy sauce or sprinkle with a little salt and top it with some toasted sesame seeds. It's yummy. :frogg:

Ok, I must have been blind when I went yesterday. I did not see any bags that said "Edamame" Beans.
I'll try again next weekend.
Thanks for your help guys!

Not all grocery stores are going to have them. If you have an asian market I would be surprised if they didn't have them. If they aren't with the vegetables try near frozen egg rolls.

I'll keep that in mind for when I go next weekend. I only go on the weekends. My weekdays are dedicated to getting in shape for the dress.
