use my aunts veil or buy one???

My aunt, gave me her veil and said i could do what ever i wanted with it. So, it was a two tier veil. now i have one layer. I have attached a clear hair comb to it. Its pretty. When i cleaned it however it is very white. My dress is ivory. I still have to embellish where the comb is. Do you think it would look funny with my dress or do i go out and buy an ivory veil? :bbeek:

Check around and see if you can dye the one you have ivory. I don't know if it is possible or not, but it would save alot of money if all you had to do was buy some dye.

This is my only comment about a white veil and an ivory dress...white with ivory tends to make ivory look "dirty"! Like the PP said, unless you can dye it, other wise maybe you should find something that is more ivory! Or better yet....hold it up to the dress, that will give you a good idea of what they will look like together or put on the dress, put on the veil and take a picture! These are always almost fool proof ways to figure out if the two work together!!

I would definately dye it.
My dress is Diamond White and I bought Ivory shoes thinking it would be okay, but when I tried the 2 on together it looked horrible. So I'm going to dye the shoes. I would suggest dying the veil for you.
