How many of you ladies started working out or working out more after you got engaged?

I actually just got a YMCA membership this week... I plan on this being a get into shape for the wedding and TTC and also as a stress reliever... I don't start the gym until this coming Thursday due to some money problems... but I am sooooo excited too... and FH got a membership with me and so did my parents, AND my MOH is going to get one!!!!

I've been saying I was going to get in shape before the wedding, but I haven't tried much yet. I have finally stopped eating m&ms which I was addicted to. I have cut back on soda a lot and am going to try to stop drinking it. I need to start exercising though.

Oh I am horrible and I know it ..... I just don't have any time to do much other than go to work to work, go home to work, go to sleep and start over the next day. Oh .... and every now and then I consider myself lucky to work some time in for a bath or shower :)

2 jobs, full time college load, and planning a wedding... who has the time or energy for exercise? Not me.

I think I may have actually exercised less somehow. I used to walk about 4 miles a day. Then I started my internship (a few weeks after the engagement) which is 20 extra hours of work a week plus other class time and class work. So now I rarely exercise. And I will be done with school 2 weeks after the wedding/ So then I will have a few years to get in shape before I get prego, lol.

I started exercising more after I met my fiance because he lives a very healthy lifestyle, but I wouldn't say it was necessarily after getting engaged (or being engaged had anything to do with it). Part of it was that I wanted to have a stronger heart and more energy, the other was that I wanted to stay trim as I noticed that my body was starting to get older with slower metabolism.

I plan on being physically fit enough to bounce right back from popping out babies!

My schedule is just as busy working 72+ hours a week full time, full time school, planning a wedding. I average roughly 4-5 hours now in sleep and I am going to go for an hour after I ge out of work.... I figure its a perfect time to start getting healthier and relieve stress... i'm so excited
