You know, I have no idea how they do them. A girl over at UW did it for me. I think she does them with Photoshop. I guess they are easy, but I don't have the software to do it.

Its ImageReady and PhotoShop. You make a gif image and go frame-by-frame to make it change.

I like the colors fading in and out but I was thinking it was too fast, might give someone a seizure ;)

Like L3vi said, it is done with a graphics program. There are several different types out there. I use Photoshop, ImageReady and Illustrator. It isn't too hard if you have the right programs and know how to use it.

I would be happy to make some for you guys if you want, as long as don't want them right away ... I would have to work it in between my other projects ... I am a busy Web Lady you know ;)

There are some places online you can get free ones ... like: www.blinkyou.com or www.glittermaker.com But they have a 'Made by" notice on them.

If you can make the files but you don't have Photoshop and ImageReady to get them to animate, you can get this free program called GIF Animator (http://www.freewareweb.com/cgi-bin/archive.cgi?ID=288)
