Alright so. Like with most things reguarding our wedding I just can't settle for normal it seems!

When Jon popped the question he didn't have the ring to go with it because of some complications, which wound up being a pretty good thing. He was going to get me a princess cut. No squares for me!

Well we've been into a lot of stores. I just wanted something simple. I don't like intricate rings unless they're old fashioned or antique. So we figured I'd just go with a good old solitaire. Turns out that most in the area were too expensive *sigh*

Soooooooo. I was looking around the web and found this!

I fell in love with it because my first Promise Ring from Jon was a poesy ring. And well, with the "old fashioned" feel of the wedding it just...fits. He'll have a matching band like the poesy one there! And all together it'll cost us much less than the solitaire alone was going to!

Nice choice Measha... although not to keen on the band with it, but would be cool for a guy.. but the e-ring is gorgeous

Yes the diamond ring is a puzzle ring. It's a puzzle/poesy set :whoohoo:

As said in the main post yus he'll bet getting the matching poesy men's band. We'll probably get all of them in white gold.

BrideinCuffs, one of the reasons I love these bands is because as said above my first promise ring from FH was a poesy ring. This one!

It means "you and no other" the one above is "Here is my heart, guard it well." Both are French, which also ties into our whole theme. I know the style isn't for everyone, hehe. But they are based off historical rings and so on and so forth. :geek: Very cool for we history and literature nerds!

I like the marquise stone, but I'm still debating getting a round cut in its place. Each ring is hand made, I get to choose the size of weave, the stone size and shape. And could even replace it with saphire or ruby if I wanted.

Hehe, I'm the type that feels the need to explain the "Why". Didn't take it as negative no worries!

Very nice! I used to have a puzzle ring, but the two center rings were separate. I didn't know they could make them to hold a stone.

I love those rings by the time I have seen them. And because I admire the French language, that made it more interesting to me. Good choice of message written on those rings. I will tell this to my girlfriend and she would be happy to look at this ones.

Such a pretty design and it works with your theme. How lovely "you and no other." The text is so romantic.

I like it. It is so different. My FH would freak though if I got something like that... he is so old fashioned.

Life has been hectic! I've barely had time to send e-mails let alone do any forum posting :) I've been trying to catch up though.

As to the rings, well go figure that right after we found the ones we want and everything else, issues come up. My computer has been trying to give up the ghost and looks like we'll have to put some money into that first. So we probably won't get the rings until sometime next year (spring-ish) if everything is in balance with college funds as well.

I'm not too worried about it :) I mean, it's something I DEFINATELY look forward to! And it does mean a lot, but we won't be getting married for about a year yet, and other things sometimes come first. Plus now I know where I'm getting them and what needs to be saved up, etc :D
