View Full Version : Guestbook Introduction?

So I'm almost done with our photo album guest book (and if I order by tomorrow it's 25% off at picaboo). I just need an intro that says "thanks for coming and please sign our guestbook on the pages where photos aren't in the background (the "white space" provided). There aren't any lines, I'd just like to be able to read what people write and if they write on the photos then they might end up with dark pen on a dark background.



I mean does this sound cheesy? Can you help me rephase it?

To our guests:
Thank you for being with us on this special day! Please take a moment to sign our guestbook and write any wishes you have for us in the "white space" provided.

Should I leave out the white space part? I mean people don't read directions anyway....

I would personally just take out the word "white". I don't think most people would be dumb enough to write with black on black. :frogg: IMHO.

I love your book, that is really a neat idea :) Yeah, I agree with tango...i dont think people would write over your pictures.

I mostly agree with that, I've realized that some people don't quite get things. For example, people were RSVPing to our Save the Dates and one person got excited because it had a picture of the Space Needle in the background she thought it was a ticket to the top of the Space Needle. (I didn't anticipate that one).

But either way I've realized people are going to sign where they are going to sign, so no biggie. If they write black on black Ryan and I can just look back at it and have a good laugh.

Your book looks great! I think it's pretty obvious that the white space is where people should write. I don't think you need to say it.

Wow, what an awesome idea! Most people will realize that they need to write in the white space, but even if you told people to write in the white space, you'd still have that one person who wrote over a picture.
