:bblol: First i will tell you alittle about Blake and myself. I am from Edmonton, Alberta. I grew up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. (Canada). I am 27 years old. I moved to Calgary,Alberta to finish my senior year of school. I currently work as a fitness trainer. My future husband to be is Blake. He is 30 years old. He is from Calgary, Alberta. He and his parents moved to Drumheller, Alberta. 16 years ago. Blake currently works in the oilfield. He has been working in it for 5 years.
We both love camping and fishing. We try to get out as much as we can. If we ever get snow this year we would also love to get out skidooing. Usually our friends like to come out here to get a break from the city. Its good we all share the same passions.

How we met... Well we met back in 1999. I was going through a rough time. My girlfriend asked me to come camping with her and some friends. I really didn't want to but she insisted. that i go. It would make me feel better. So i agreed. We all worked the day so we pretty much set up and went to bed.
The next day is when Blake and I were formally introduced. It was my girlfriends boyfriends cousin. (nothing like confusing people.) Well, we just started talking and we hit it off right away. At the time I lived in Calgary and he lived in Drumheller. So we did the travelling thing on the weekends. Then after awhile I decided to move out to Drumheller. (that was an adjustment) We have since bought a house this coming August will be four years. We have been together for almost seven. ;)

Our Engagement....Blake is not a romantic. Well, April 23, 2004 he decided to make that commitment. It was actually my birthday. We had plans to go out for dinner with family and friends. He was acting kindof funny. He gave me a card to open before dinner and it read " If you don't like the birthday card I know what you would like." He left it at that. We went out for dinner. I was still questioning what did that mean. We came home and then he said your present is in a vase i had with with rocks in it. Well, i found a white box. I opened it and then he said "thats an engagement ring". I was suprised and was like did he just say what I think he said? And now here we are. Planning for our wedding this year.

The Wedding..We are getting married October 14, 2006. Canmore, Alberta. We are having a very small wedding. We want to spend more on our honeymoon. I am having 25 guests attend. We are pretty shy. Not traditional. I thought i wanted the chruch wedding until i started planning it. I think the idea of 100-200 people staring at us was alittle overwelming. We are now doing what is most comfortable for ourselves. Not what others wanted us to do. It was pretty hard making that small of a guest list. I think i feel we picked the people that are really involved in our lives and that we really care about.
