Has anyone tried this?

I was going to do silk, but I've looked and looked for silk that looks real, and isn't going to cost me and arm and leg, to no avail.

So, since my preserved leaves and pinecones are coming out nicely, I've been thinking of trying dried flowers for the bouquets.
It seems easy enough, but my fear is when I assemble them, they will crumble.
Or if they are not handled with extreme caution, they will crumble.

Anyone?

Hmmm, you could always look into a freeze dried boquet, I know that they tend to hold their color, not sure how fragile they are. Different places can freeze dry them for you though.

I think their used to be another thread like this but its name escapes me.

it's a very unique idea, however wouldn;t the petals be brown and dried out? maybe a picture would better explain your idea
